I don't mean to rag on this girl for being disgusting, but I just don't agree that this is rape and I think its insulting to women who have been victimized by rape.


This type of nasty shit is not unique to colleges nor is it unique to students events or spring breaks.

The notion that she was "blackout drunk" is bullshit. Blackout drunk would be that photo of her knocked out on the street the morning after.


If have been to a few college parties where I've seen behavior close to this taking place. At one party, a girl allowed a guy to pick her up as she straddled him and he started dry humping her against the wall while she was reaching down into his pants to grab his junk. Both of them were drunk and being sloppy. But sexual assault it was not.


I just don't buy the idea that drunk absolutely == "I can't make any decisions at all!". Not when I've seen this up close.

I need to leave this thread. This kind of thing makes me very angry.

If a man gets drunk, sleeps with a woman he normally wouldn't have sex with, and then regrets it in the morning, he can't claim rape. He can't, because a jury will tell him he is an adult and is responsible for his choices.

Women are treated the same as children - they aren't held responsible for their actions.

Of course, you won't see the Women's Lib movement (you know, the one supposedly fighting for women to be equal to men) standing up against this kind of "kid gloves" handling of women.

I'm single and, at this point, I get very nervous about dating. It is ridiculous how much the law gives women permission to ruin men's lives at their whim.

There's a difference between wanting to "screw" in a public area where few people would even see or notice that you were gettin' it on...

Yeah, a chick led me into that one. Actually kind of pool hopped and finally landed in the lake when it just seemed to keep getting more awkward and that we weren't fooling anyone/hiding it well at all. :$

I know it's so commonly stated/accepted that Males have the greatest urge for sex and everything - but even if true, there is a downside to that. Women yield the power when it comes to sex, and they know it.
And I'm pretty damn sure they sometimes have a STRONGER sex drive than men. We might truly have the more consistent, persistent, ever-lasting sex drive, but women can seem to be harboring a demon when it comes to sex. It can just come out of the blue, and it's like... holy shit batshit crazy, alright you win, let's do this everywhere! It's usually not so much a depressing "oh fine, I can't beat this" but more of a "if you want to do it here, and there, and make that noise... whatever, I'll just keep it at and pray the police stay away" lol

You're conflating two topics.

A porn star knows what they are doing and are comfortable screwing within the vicinity of other people/crew.

My contention is that for NORMAL non-porn star women that are into thrill seeking behavior, having sex in a public place might be a turn on. The thrill of "possibly" getting caught while not being in direct view of onlookers.

And I am also stating that MOST NORMAL non-porn star/non-swinger women would NOT be comfortable having sex in front of a group of onlookers within arms reach -- especially those taking pictures and video.

The man made the decision to perform the act in from of cameras, too. Why is it not rape for him?
 
If the story went... Guy gets girl drunk, mixes her stronger drinks than she realizes, keeps pushing drinks, or potentially other drugs mixed in, on her, then when her inhibitions are low and shes not aware of where she is or what is going on, pleasures her, and her body reacts appropriately, and then later off camera she passes out and he has sex with her in the alley, then leaves her on the sidewalk.... it becomes plausible that it qualifies as rape.


Im not saying that is what happened here, but I am waiting for the first major case a guy brings against a fat chick that buys him a bottle of good hooch while studying, then he wakes up the next morning and files charges 😛

He didn't have a good lawyer if those are the facts of the case. Had a dorm mate in college get accused of basically the same thing but the case was thrown out.
