So, when the students were told to "run, hide, fight", what exactly were they supposed to fight with? Words?

While no one truly knows how they will react in that type of situation until they are in one, I am of the opinion that if your in a true active shooter situation like the nightclub in Florida that you basically have two choices if you can't immediately flee. You can either wait to die or you can fight back however you possibly can. Pick up a chair and throw it at him, throw bottles at him while you try to get closer, try to tackle him when he is reloading or just straight bumrush him. I figure that your chance of dying are pretty much 100% so whatever action you take other than waiting to die can only significantly increase your chance of survival.

And again, not called on it. Others have been banned for less.

Accepted around here as long as its from the 'correct' side.

It's not his fault, it is obvious he has a illness.

Really?

Has he posted and clarified his mistake? Or will he ignore it and talk about the last time or the next time?

Was his account Hi-jacked?If he posted himself or gave another permission he is responsible!

So without bothering to find out what happened he wants to push an agenda that has no bearing on what happened?

Knee jerk,feel good policy anyone?

.
I meant that I was not responsible for his twitter account or anyone's twitter account. Apologies, I should have been more clear in that.

Is there a moment in your life that is not defined by hate?

First drew my attention when I stepped in something I didn't understand months back, but ever since... it's pretty clear this race baiting is the vast sum of your posting experience here. It's not kind or helpful or positive for you to continue in this manner. A person's skin tone is truly an immaterial mask to hide real issues of nationalism, culture, and economic strife. It's a fake and superficial conflict to deride real issues as white, black, or brown. The majority of people moved past racism, but more still need help dealing with real issues and they don't need hateful race baiting rhetoric to stir up the worse of their tribal instinct.

The quote you replied to is a positive story of people who typically distrust the military, but finding it within themselves to take comfort and care of one another during a time of need. For the true human spirit shines best when we put aside our differences and work together for a common cause. It's unfortunate that it often takes a crisis to remind us of our better nature, but to take this story and demean and tear it down the way you posted... is a sign that you are sick. Driven by the same base tribalism that gives rise to racism, hate, and deplorable acts of violence the world over. It's contagious, and this forum would do well to honor and reflect on the positive story the kids shared of helping one another as opposed to the narrative you wish to share.

I recall linking you to data which showed the surprising even to the cynical extent of racial resentment in the US, but evidently providing actual info is a fruitless endeavor even with one of the good ones. It there's any leading narrative to this election, it's the fact even the GOP completely misjudged just how racist this country is. Illuminating that the one guy who didn't misjudge is going to the white house, and even then dummies continue making excuses how it was anything but birtherism & its kin. It's proof positive that overton window you're desperately trying to apply can fool the applicants more than people perpetually pissed they have to be PC (ie not overtly racist) even for their own sake.

It's also interesting the reactions of people to telling it like it is, especially those particularly fond of that saying. Seems that quite a few prefer little fairy tale post-racial world lives for obvious reasons, even with pretty clear consequences.

Again race baiting, interesting.....

Hardly surprising from people who get their definition of race related terms from breitbart & such. Alluding to the fact that the military routinely conflates brown people for terrorists = race baiting, LOL. Funny that everyone else in the world sees the american conservative brain trust as the opposite of how they see themselves.

Alas sir, your sagacious post was lost on that one. His intellectual and social myopathy renders him incapable of grasping the points that you and I were making. I've made the sad choice to invoke the Mark Twain / George Carlin rule with this one.

That renowned GOP brain trust which didn't do well enough in school to know Twain/Carlin don't exactly take kindly to the klan types.

And a thunderous whoosh was heard far and wide, followed soon after by a gentle breeze.

White power.

Not sure if it is actually white power... The article was basically just pointing to the fact that in the 1960s European immigrants made up about 75% of American immigrants, it is now 10%. Draw whatever conclusions you will, but don't call it white power or racist. It's an observation.

And he doesn't fail to provide the perfect example of why I've invoked the Twain/Carlin rule.

Yeah, just "race realism".

Twain/Carlin would invoke poe's law on you.

You guys understand that the Peoples Cube is a satire site don't you?

In fairness it's a conservative satire site, basically a somewhat wittier version of stormfront.

I did not :(

The site jokes but the people behind it actually believe what they're saying, like multiculturalism is a threat to white culture, or various ethnic epithets like welfare queens while ignore far more lucrative white welfare. It fits perfectly with Bannon's belief that too many minorities (no matter how model) in lead positions is a threat to "civic society".

You were totally right they only leave the hood off for sake of optics.

When these so-called evil Muslims carry out these supposed attacks, who is it benefiting?

1. Is it benefiting the Muslim communities or is it hurting their image?
2. Is it benefiting the average American citizen?
3. Is it benefiting the media?
4. Is it benefiting the government?

People never question these events and whose interests might be at play. But we're taught to close our minds and just accept things as facts.

It's in the interests of many to avoid this. After all, figuring out that it's advantageous for the trump crowd to retain their social strata can reflect poorly on their methods for achieving it.

I voted against Trump, but one thing I"m looking forward to is a throttling of muslim immigration to the united states. Geez this guy, complaining about Muslims being misunderstood in an interview, and then going off and attacking random strangers like the Palestinians.
