Yeah, I noticed him using a q-tip too. My mother came up with that idea when I was renting a lot of games and they would get all buggy when I turned them on. She'd dip a q-tip in a little bit of rubbing alcohol and clean out around the contacts, then let it dry, and it'd work like magic.

Yeah, same here, my mom told me to try that, and lo and behold it worked.

OMG THAT TYPHOON LEVEL!! The worst!! That bonus stage was impossible just like it showed in that video. I was lucky to dodge that sharp crap once.

All those videos are amazing reminders of how impossible some NES games were. How I beat all those games I have no idea.
