Oh man, Dallas put it on LA tonight yo!

If this is what the playoffs are going to be like then sign me up. LA beat Dallas in LA last night with an Horry 3 and tonight Dallas really stuck it to LA in Dallas.

<< what is this, their second wim in 50 tries.
don't get your hopes up.

From Espn

Dallas ended a seven-game losing streak to the Lakers and won for just the fourth time in their last 45 meetings. This one was especially important because it was the last time the teams played in the regular season.

It all starts over in the playoffs anyway 🙂

hella wicked mad jiggo-yo....

Oh, they'll be easy...The Lakers have too much finals experience and too much talent for anyone to come close to toppling them 🙂

<< I just checked your profile.

News Flash - You are from Maine - the whitest state in the union.

I thought that was Vermont

<< win lose whatever

in the end the Lakers will be champions again.

3peat 😎

Just think after you win this one, you'll only need what 9-10 more to tie the Celtics for championships

Occasionally you get a blue moon...

Kobe - 4/18
Shaq - untimely foul trouble
LA 3pt % - 3/12, 25%
Outrebounded - 56 vs. 45

Would this happen in the playoffs? Don't count on seeing it more than once - Dallas has no chance against them in a series - unfortunately. Dallas has some studs but not enough inside presence.

While the Lakers are still the favorites, I wouldn't dismiss the Kings if they get home-court advantage. The Kings have been winning some road games lately, and are almost unbeatable at home.

We all remember the Lakers posting an almost-perfect playoffs romp last year, but we don't remember Philly playing them straight-up for almost 3 games.

Kobe - 5/14: That was his line the game before on Sunday vs. the Mavs, so this blue moon happened twice in a row 😉 The nice thing about the Mavs is we got 4 defenders we can rotate on Kobe (Griff, Buckner, Newman, Abdul_Wahad) whose sole responsibility is to play defense (got plenty of offense). I think Nellie's plan is to contain Kobe with our defenders, let Shaq get his points offensively but limit him defensively by drawing him away from the paint and closer to the 3 point line (LaFrentz, Nowitzki, Wang), and dare the role players to beat us. Sunday night the role players stepped in and killed us (Horry and Fisher especially) but last night our plan worked.

Now that the Mavs finally have this monkey off our back, I think we stand a chance vs the Lakers in a 7 game series.

The Lakers are just too strong. I can't see anyone beating them in a best-of-7 series. I thought the Spurs might of had a shot last year and they were DEMOLISHED by the Lakers... swept in 4 games and they lost each game by like 20 pts. The regular season means nothing to the Lakers anymore.
