no internet. for a week.

i'm moving home, need to get Virgin to set up in my new home, which isn't gonna happen until i take my router from here, to there. So, maybe a week to get the whole thing setup.

no quake, no blr, no bf until then. jesus, online games represent 95% of my human interaction, i'm not sure i can survive this long.

stacking up on single player games now. minecraft, ftl, skyrim & fallout i have on DVD ...

Really sad life you got there buddy.

While you should be full of excitement and happiness, the reality is the opposite.

I'm really sorry to hear.

Senator Lindsey Graham has never used e-mail. Ever. So it's not that hard to go without the Internet for just a week.

half hour lunch break (its midnight, doing graveyard shift @IBM), i get to play on a laptop with no youtube, no .jpg, no java/activex/applet of any sort, 90% of the web blocked.

oh joy.

Dear Diary,

First day without internet. Not so bad, had plenty to do, didn't feel bored or restless.
Today, i "read" a thing called a "newspaper"; you are not going to believe this, but its made of paper .. thats right, paper. And it has fonts on it, kind of like a monitor, but .. made of paper. The scrollwheel doesn't work and you have to change each page manually, but it does provide a modicum of informations, if one overlooks the fact that they are at least 24h old.
It doesn't have Google, so i'm not sure how useful it might be in the long run.

Still lost at sea,

next week mon-tue off, wed-fri on, weekend off.
then repeat.

I didn't have internet for a week last year. I just used my mobile hotspot from my phone via usb for my main pc and used windows internet connection sharing to give my router access to the connection so other devices in the house could use it. It was actually faster than my regular internet connection, but I used something like 30 gb of data that week. That was an expensive phone bill.

You might as well kill yourself now and save yourself the suffering. You'll never make it to the end of the week anyway.
