Blizzard, havent you installed it yet? If it works, its excellent. If it doesnt, its merely great.
It arrives tomorrow! 🙂 but i won't be able to install it tomorrow since it's my sister's laptop and she's in college so when she comes back next week, I'll install it for her...
I will post pics of the ram when it arrives!!!

So i bought the crucial ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145068
However, I didn't know it was OEM when i bought it... Does OEM suck compared to Retail ram? I heard that OEM they change some parts of the RAM? Should I cancel my order and buy retail RAM? Im confused!

I nominate for General Hardware Thread of the Year!
Wow...absolutley hilarious.
Blizzard...I'm going to lay this out for you. If you post another dumb question again I'm going to find you and smack you across the head.
1.) Open RAM from packaging
2.) Open Laptop RAM access door (usually held on by one screw)
3.) Take old ram out, notice out it pops up and comes out in a 45 degree angle. Also notice that there is a "notch" where the RAM inserts the motherboard
4.) Line up new RAM with the notch of the RAM in the correct location @ a 45 degree angle, push in, and push down.
5.) Close and screw RAM access door
6.) Power on laptop
7.) Be happy and never post @ Anandtech again.

Hey OP, OEM is perfectly fine, for the zillionth time 🙂
O.K. I think we already esstablished that OEM ram was fine. My new question is, do i install the RAM on wooden floor? What are ways to prevent static without haveing me buy an antistatic wristband?
