Think Nova can beat Pitt again? Pitt is pretty tough imo..

Nova/Pitt will be a spectacular game. I think Nova will come out with the W after seeing their defense last night, WOW. Henderson shot 1-14 and their next best scorer shot 3-18, you do that to a Coach K team and you're hot stuff. Pitt seemed to struggle a bit with Xavier so we'll see what happens.

we shut down pitt at the spectrum during the season. now that was a site to see! it was pretty much a brawl. i hope we can do it again.

Yah I know they can't help that the schedule is soft but they do need to do something. You just can't get tourney ready playing cupcakes for 2 months. But hey, you're at least gifted the sweet 16 every year!

i dont get to watch too many memphis games throughtout the year, but it seems to be they are way overrated and overhyped the last couple of seasons.

They did make it to the FINALS last year. Great game today by Mizzou though, it'll be really interesting to see them play UConn who didn't look that great today but has been solid all tournament long.

Wow Nova dominated.

Any team with good talent that is given a free ride to the sweet 16 thanks to a 1 or 2 seed will probably eventually make it to the finals. Last years Memphis team had an achilles heal, free throws, that would have been exposed more than a couple of times in a major conference schedule. This probably would have resulted in them having more losses, a lower seed, and less probability of making the finals due to the lower seed.

I think you are underestimating what they did last year. Yes they shot free throws horribly last year and still haven't learned to shoot them this year but you don't get a 1 seed by just playing C-USA teams. Last year they beat Oklahoma, UConn, and USC at neutral sites. They also beat Georgetown (ranked 4) and Arizona (ranked 18). In the tournament they beat Michigan State, Texas and UCLA. They weren't nearly as good this year and I thought they should have been a 3 or 4.

I agree that their weakness's are not exposed since they play in a weak conference but I can't agree that just any team will "probably eventually" make it to the finals. I'll give them props for last years run. Yesterday they just got dominated and I love seeing a good defensive team.

U of A! U of A!

Ahh, just really happy to see the Cats in the sweet 16 after it being almost certain they were going to be left out of the tournament. So of course I want them to win, but would still be happy even if they didn't move on after today.

I am kind of worried about the coaching situation though. Not a coach out there who's likely to come to Zona right now...Pitino ain't coming, Calapari ain't leaving Memphis. Plus it's a lot of pressure to come to arizona with 25 straight NCAA tournament appearances. Would be great of Calapari didn't have a stud recruiting class coming in...then he might consider Zona, but there's no reason for him or Pitino to come to Zona right now (or the offseason)

Welp I turned off that game pretty quick 😛 - Total beat down on Arizona. Can't say I'm too surprised having watched UofA all season. There's a reason they went 9-9 in the pac 10 and barely squeaked in the tournament. Still very happy with the season they've had though.

Blake Griffin is a monster.

LOL did you see that dunk? Hit his face on the side of the backboard and still dunked the ball!

Syracuse not doing well, either.

Orange is getting molested by OKL! 24! AZ is done too, down 35. LOL

You knew Blake Griffin was going to get his, but Tony Crocker's career-high 28 is what got OU past Syracuse. If he scores at his average over the last 10 games (6 ppg), OU loses by 9. Great season for the Cuse though.

This Jayhawks Vs. Spartans game is damn close. If UNC can keep the current pace they're gonna blow out Gonz.

I hope the kansas/msu comes down to the wire just to hear gus johnson's unholy scream on the last shot.
