There's only about two or three 360 games that I don't want to play... Go figure. :)
The entire complaint is slightly bogus to begin with. The launch titles are fine - remember, the SNES only had 3 launch titles(SMW, F-Zero, and Pilot Wings), and only one of those was an actual must-have. It takes time for a console to develop a large library - and it seems like, starting in late February, early March, we're starting to see those new games come out.

man i originally only bought PGR3 and love it..
but i got gamefly and rented almost all the other launch titles.. and man they were quite fun..

so far ive played..
Tony Hawk (really fun especially on live)
NFSMW (better than PC version and live rocks)
Kameo (amazing single player)
CoD2 (great but soo fustrating and live is a mess)
Gun (fun but not a buyer at all)
PDZ (live is more fun than the single player but an Ok game)
PGR3 (flat out one of the best car games ever)

havent even used live arcade dont even have the time with all the games coming in from gamefly.
next is Full Auto and Fight night for my queue..

up to 2000 gamer points from all these.. would be much higher but CoD2 on vet sucks =-(

You inadvertantly bring up a really interesting problem with gamer points - they actually reward people who rent a lot rather than buy a few. Doing a bunch of the "lesser" achievements is often more efficient than trying to max out a single game. In fact, there are already known bugs in games that prevent all the achievements from being done, period (such as Oupost Kaloki X's "oops, we forgot to set the gold times to something other than default" screw-up). That's not to mention that some achievements are just flat-out impossible (beat Smash TV without continuing?).

I haven't played Tony Hawk (not my thing...), but I completely agree with the rest of your statement. :)

Your site name seems a bit misleading at this point in time. How soon till some game saves start showing up?

I am going to put up my cod2 and nfs:mw gamesave tonight. I still have yet a chance to test out the software heh. It wasn't going to be released yet but the french guys released some software last night, so the dev on the software on my site (well not just mine, the dev of the software as well) posted it last night.

that's why its a beta thats released now.

Cool man. I've bookmarked your site for future reference.

Just FYI ... there are a few gamesaves popping up on the site already if you were interested :)

Well to tell the truth bro... most of my points are from the games i bought..

PGR3
DOA4
CoD2
PDZ
are all mine and except for CoD2 are all pretty much maxed out.

i did get a crapload of points from kameo which was flat out fun..
Thawk even though i beat the game completly didnt give me all that many points.

i got a few points from condemned before i realized i hated the game and returned it..
but most of the easy achievemnts are only worth 10-20 points if your lucky.. some are 5.. its the game complete ones that really rack the points fast.

but with gamefly you keep the games as long as you want.. ive been sitting on Thawk for almost 2 months its a blast...
gonna return it this week and see if i can get them to send me full auto tomorrow.

COD2 on Veteran is one of the hardest challenges I've had with a game in any recent history. However it is very rewarding when you finish it and have all 1000 points from this game :)

Supposedly, to be readily available in March from the last Moore comments I believe. To get one before that will take some hunting.

You could also check the usual suspects online - generally, they'll have a place where you can use your zip code to see real-time inventory of the item in your area. That's how I managed to grab mine from Circuit City a few weeks ago.

I have a bit of a dilemma...

I recently was able to snag a Premium system at Best Buy not too long ago.

If my wife knew, she'd kill me. But she's gone for the week.

Anyway... if I opened the box, would Best Buy not take it back? That would give me the perfect excuse to keep it when my wife finds out...

Of course, I'll be sleeping on the couch for a month or so... so it had better be damn worth it....

I think you can still return it, with a 15% restocking fee. Games you can't, but systems and stuff (sine you can't buy and copy and return) you can return up to 14 or 30 days or something

It looks like a whole lot of Live Arcade games are coming out that week, interestingly enough. I hope they can keep up the pace!

BTW, you really should talk all major purchases over with your spouse first. For some people, $400 really is a lot of money (for us, at least, it's not a _huge_ deal, but we try to be frugal).

I'm going to try and rent it this weekend. I'm not dropping any money on another retail game until Oblivion more than likely.

The Outfit Multiplayer Demo coming soon.

THQ has announced that a multiplayer demo of its upcoming WWII action title, The Outfit, will be hitting the XBL Marketplace and OXM. The demo will feature the game's most intriguing multiplayer mode, Strategic Victory. Up to eight players are divided into two teams. Each team starts with several control towers and 150 command points. Teams lose points when their heroes are killed, bases are destroyed, or they lose a majority of their control towers. The first team to reach zero command points is defeated.

Each player will have access to the destruction-on-demand feature, using the team's accumulated F-Us (Field Units) to order in AI reinforcements, vehicles, air strikes, and weaponry. In addition, maps contain neutral resource buildings that, when captured, become spawn points and grant access to special destruction-on-demand items. However, capturing a resource building does not affect your team's command point total, at least, not directly. See, it's all about strategic victory.

An Xbox Live multiplayer demo makes great use of the Marketplace module and is sure to attract a huge number of downloads?especially considering that the Xbox 360 is starved for some decent online multiplayer content. The Outfit demo is scheduled to arrive on Friday, March 3.

After seeing the Full Auto demo on xbox live was from a build built before the 360 was even launched, I won't be surprised if the Outfit demo is also the same one they had at Zero Hour, built before the system was even launched.

And the game was pretty bad IMO. It played just like Brute Force, but in a different environment.

eeeh I hope you do know, I've played the game already, so I think my opinions on the way the game plays is pretty valid since its not just based off of reading and looking at videos/images.

and you are in the minority if you thought brute force rocked. the game was considered a flop.
