did you try out pro soccer 2k7

Not yet, I got the demo on my HDD but haven't had the time to play it yet. The UEFA demo was alright, only had a chance to play it once. I know it's based on the FIFA engine which i enjoyed enough and after playing UEFA 2004-2005 on the PC, I know that the tournament mode the game will have is going to be worth the money, even if PES is a little better.

OOH SOTN is my favorite Castlevania game!
Picked up a core system at the CompUSSR store closing sale... :)
Well, if I'm not mistaken, SOTN is the first Live Arcade title to take advantage of the new 150MB filesize limit, so you're going to have to pony up $50 for a new 512MB memory card just to play it. The even worse news? That card doesn't release until next month.

I could be wrong on the filesize, though, so somebody correct me if I am.

Buying a HDD from another AT member, file size isn't a problem. :)

It's not just you. I've seen posts from various people saying they've played previous versions of Virtua Tennis and say that the demo is ridiculously difficult.

I've been busy so far this weekend with family in town and haven't had a chance to try it yet.

I just ran across this deal for those interested, pretty solid;

Free big bag, free shipping and no tax outside of CA. Red Octane has also mentioned that they may be shipping early so that customers recieve their games by the "ship date" that retailers are quoting.

So $89.99 for Guitar Hero II, free shipping and no tax outside CA.

Ace Combat... BAH! Give me a new Soul Calibur Namco!!! C'mooooooon!

I dug the Katamari games so I'm interested to see what a "next gen" version would look like. I wonder how they could implement online play in a Katamari game. Maybe who could build up the biggest ball by a certain time? Bring it on.

Damn, don't know if I want to jump on this or not. I'd like to have the 2 guitar version, but $150 is a cool slap to the nuts for one game :).

Nice deal. I wasn't too sure if I wanted this but since it comes with a free bag I figured what the hell. Plus if I don't like it I'm sure I could ebay it and at least come out even.

I'm still (rather impatiently) waiting on the "Zephyr" and one of the things that will make the wait easier is that there are still apparently no plans for a wireless guitar. Is that still the case?

With up-to-date work 'devil May cry 4', from before the selling we gain the popularity where the user is high e.g., the original action due to the most beautiful image expression and the new protagonist in the series history which utilizes the quality of each hard is observed, in Tokyo game Shaw 2006 as test playing the line of the long snake can designate. Even though I'm glad in a way, it's stupid having different systems now-a-days. There is practically no games that are console exclusive anymore.

As long as you're not including the Wii, I concur. Except for Gears of War. And Crackdown. Darn it, come on Zephyr! :p

It's kind of a good thing, though. Console makers are having to up the ante a little and come out with extra original things, like Microsoft and their Live service and Sony and their Home "service". They are just competing on a different level than they once were.

The rumors are building. :)

I don't understand why every rumor is focusing on the color change. The biggest new aspect for me would be the 65 nm design. Is it so uncommon to not want your console to fail within 2 years? Perhaps they don't expect their readers to understand the effects of a die shrink. :p

Eh, that's Game Informer, though. Plus, that's the old $479 rumor from a month ago (given that it's a magazine, that's about right). New rumor is it's coming in at $399, current premium going down to $299, and core being washed away. I think if they introduce a new 360 at $479 without getting rid of a current SKU, that's a mistake to let Sony get their foot even more in the door.

I think you're right for the majority of the market.

That said, I'd buy it. But I'd also buy a $600 version that included an internal HD-DVD drive...

Heh it's pretty funny it's in the April issue of GI, regardless of the note on Kotaku.

Yea, the guys at my local eb games confirmed this story to me. They also said their MS rep stated the now premium would be replacing the core at 299. They said the rep also told them originally the new SKU would be 439, so who knows at this point. The manager told me that he expects to have a SKU in their system by sometime in April. So, I'm already building up some in -tore credit and getting some quotes on hardware exchanges.

I'm going to upgrade when this thing hits.

I hope it has;

65nm
HDMI
120 HDD
WI-FI built-in

And whatever else MS can throw in the box.

Just found this little gem over at the 1up boards;

Got an email down @ my local Gamestop where I manage. Says, "we are looking into doing pre-orders for the May launch of the new Xbox 360 sku, depending on Microsoft quantities." Also states that the price will be $479, and the core Xbox 360 sku will see a drop in price. We got system box stickers in the other week for $479 and $229.

Take it with a grain of salt, but 229 for the core, hello Nintendo. Things are about to get hot this holiday season.

Ace Combat appears exclusive to the 360 now with online play, and DMC 4 will release at the same time as the ps3 VERSION.
