I remember hearing stories about people's games getting messed up because they leave it in the console but how is that even possible?? I am not buying the game again. I am about to explode. RRROOOAARRR

ouch man that sucks. If that happened to my R6 disc heads would roll...

Have you moved the console from the horizontal position to the vertical position while it was on?

No. I never...EVER..move the console and I never put it vertical. Its been in the same place for months. While playing the game I would hear some faint noises from the disc drive (figured it was the hard drive) and then the game occasionally hitches while stuff is being loaded. I then got an unreadable disc error, took out the disc, looked at it and it has marks all over. I do not understand how this could happen!! I keep my stuff in impeccable condition and the drive messes up the disc?? I can't believe it. 60 bucks down the drain. An absolute joke.

Maybe the disc slightly off balances and caused it to bounce around? I bet if you were to call up 2k7sports, they would send you out a replacement disc.

I have never even bothered driving yet in crackdown, so last night I took a break from normal gameplay and just got up to 2 stars in my driving. Driving isn't really fun, but damn it looks so cool when you get an in agent car.

GRAW2 for $49.99 this week.

If you've been in search for one of the best GRAW 2 deals this week, it looks like Circuit City is the winner. For this week's release of GRAW 2 Circuit City will be discounting the game by $10 and will retail for $49.99. It's not an amazing offer, but it sure beats paying the full $59.99 price tag. And, as an added bonus, if the game isn't in store by 2PM on Wednesday they'll give you a $20 gift card. So, save yourself $10 on the (very similar to GRAW) sequel and hope the UPS guy gets lost in the massive urban sprawl.

I guess we are all having way too much fun actually playing games to worry about crap like that.. I couldn't care any less about it.

Maybe you should go post in the PS3 thread if you like it so much.

Hmm I better take my DDR game out of my XBOX then... I normally never leave games in consoles, but here's what I'm wondering. Do you turn the console off while in the game or go back to the Dashboard first?

I ALWAYS go back to the dashboard first... not sure if it even matters. But I never take the last game that I play out. There's normally always a disc in my 360. Never had a problem whatsoever and I am coming up on a year in a couple months.

Hmm that's strange. The reason why I was wondering is because possibly just turning the console off doesn't slow the disc down properly and just drops it onto the tray (off the spindle).

I'd say yell at Microsoft about it. They KNOW the DVD drives in the XBOX are utter garbage and that's why they replaced them. I think my DVD drive is starting to go in mine as it takes forever to load half the time and sometimes it doesn't even load all the textures! At one point in DDR, I had no background and the girl's dress thing was black (i.e. non-textured). I don't want to call Microsoft because I'll be stuck for 2 weeks without my precious! :(

Yep two weeks is a long time. Mine would have to break or become a pain to get games to play on it before I would send it in. I remember back when I had Test Drive Unlimited, it sounded like the DVD drive was wreaking havoc on the disc. It was constantly churning away so I took the disc out and sent it back to gamefly. i don't know what it was, but I will not take the risk of damaging my box :) I'm just glad I'm covered through may '08

Also, I sent lost planet back to gamefly today. I have to say... I hated it.

I think I might just buy an extra XBOX 360 or something just in case :x. All you need is the HDD from the original that has your profile (and downloads, although you could redownload) on it.

But the PSP version has no AA and is quite aliased.

Link updated.

I was hoping since this would be download only, without box and shipping costs Bethseda would make it a bit less than the PC retail, it's 30 as well, but it's all good. This is still a day one purchase for me considering they have said it is going to have potentnially 30-60 hours of gameplay if not more. That is worth the ticket imo.

Makes me wonder what the download size of Shivering Isles is going to be...

Between this and the Halo 3 Beta...I doubt I'll have any room left on my HDD.
