That Spanish nancyboy should have been red carded for slapping the Honduran.

Haha, Bill Simmons said that one nice thing about the World Cup is that it gives everyone license to be a little bit racist (or nationalistic, rather) and make stereotypical remarks about other nationalities.

There's nancyboys on every team. Have you seen Christiano Ronaldo?

Anyway - Spain deserved to win. But the Nancyboy (who also scored the second goal) should have been in the showers, and should be watching the next game from the bench.

But that's not how it works with Fifa.

honduras had it coming

they were thuggin it most of the game, and were obviously outclassed, atleast in speed and ball control

spain spent too much time dicking around in the box

just saw the second half of the portugal practice. fell somewhat sorry for those NK families that will be hearing that the team died in a tragic airplance accident while landing.

what will be open on wednesday morning at 7 where i could possibly watch the game.

depends on where you are really.

however you can go to Google Maps and there is a link that reads "Find out where to watch the World Cup with Google Maps." and it will place locations on the map (obviously not all are going to be listed, but may help you)

Strange, got it working for me, I'll list a few places that it has in Santa Clara.

Normandy House Lounge
Zapata'S Cafe & Restaurant
Via Mia Pizza
Tomato Thyme
Mexican Grill Incorporated
Lilly Mac'S
Game On Sports & Pizza

are most of the ones closest to the lil "pin" in the map for Santa Clara. However this doesn't state if they are open at 7 etc, I imagine you'd have to call to check with the individual places.

FIFA should really reconsider introducing instant replay, at least on World Cup. No wonder players are diving so much, when referees are giving out yellow and red cards left and right. And players apparently have no problem making asses of themselves in front of the whole world watching, if it'll help their country. Kaka's expulsion and that Swiss guy today, it's such a BS, they were barely fouls, one just needs to grab for his face and if the referees didn't properly see what happened, you're golden. Imagine what will happen in KO stage when a star player will be missing the next match even if the team advances because of some stupid call. The least they should do when there was an obvious simulation, is to punish the player post-mortem with a game suspension, perhaps it would reduce the number of simulations too.

@zainali
Around here, you can take a stroll down any busy street, and you'll find a place soon, pretty much every sports bar covers WC. Also, if you're interested in a specific team, you may want to check which channel/game will they be covering - starting tomorrow we have the last matches in the group stage, so in every group, both matches will be played at the same time, so only one of the matches can be covered live by any given channel.

WTFBBQ CBC is only going to show 3 matches on the main CBC network and will show one on a subscriber only channel. WTF, you are a publicly owned broadcaster, you used my money to get the rights to world cup and now you are telling me you are not going to show me one of the games unless I subscribe to another channel????
