i just watched the italy - new zealand game... wow... what an awesome game. it was great officiating and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

i really wanted italy to win, but great, great job by the all whites. fantastic saves and amazing defense. wood was rock solid.

that's why i like cannavaro so much... that dude doesn't bullshit around. he just plays. he's like ribery and tevez in the sense that they're just tenacious players who aren't going to pussy up the game by diving.

even when cannavaro got caught with the hand ball, he accepted that he got caught and commended the ref on seeing it. he was like, "yup... ya caught it... good eye," and put the ball down. he didn't cry about it and deny it like others would have.

LOL! I love what the announcer just said about the North Korean coach as he was drying his head from the rain. "Gotta wonder if the rain is affecting their communication."

For those not in the know the coach said before the WC started that the "dear leader" could communicate with him through telepathy.
 
MY GOOOOOOOOOOD 7-0!!!! You have no idea what it is like here in Portugal... BEST MATCH IN THE WORLD CUP, Portugal were FLAWLESS, if they play like this against Brazil, they might just win as well
