If England losses tonight they will have only 1 point and we will have 2 points and a victory against Algeria would give us 5 points which is more than England or Algeria could end up with.

England losses tonight and what happens in their match against Slovenia wouldn't even matter.

Of course England should win easily tonight.

easiest way for the US to go through will be a win against algeria and have england beat slovenia (not a hard thing to see) on their final match. that would leave england and the US on the #1 and #2 spots.

Listening to the english accented guy on radio, his response to the goal foul was "I think he called it for offsides, but not only did I not see it I didn't see any foul on the play".

Lol I feel sorry for USA, totally got stolen... WTF is up with the ref

This was maybe the best game Ive seen in the WC... Very open, lots of goal chances, could have ended 3-3 or more easily, none of that defensive bs most teams are pulling

As is normally the case, FIFA will back the ref and say yet again instant reply does not work. FIFA, like always, will sit on their asses and act oblivious that anything untoward happened. A BLIND man from the streets of Des Moines, Iowa could have gotten that call right. Once again the US gets hosed by the refs. Was there any doubt that would happen?

This game and the England game shows that the US defense almost doesn't even play till they get down a goal. It's like they need to feel dread and despair to find some motivation and kick it in gear. I hope Algeria and England tie but, I doubt it.

I'm just glad Donovan/Altidore/Bradley stepped up.

Altidore has been playing well, even in first half.

Let's see...

England wins tonight and then beats Slovakia and we win against Algeria.

The US and Slovakia would all have 1 win and two ties and it comes down to goal differential and then total goals scored.

The US has the advantage because we play Algeria last and know how many goals it will take to advance.

need a draw or maybe a loss for england. then beat algeria next week.

We(England) will win tonight, end of the day USA should of won that game but thats how football goes sometimes with bad calls by the ref.

I'm still pissed by the hand of God goal by Maradonna (another bad call by the ref years ago).

Robbed! Totally robbed. Ref should be investigated for taking a bribe!

No offsides.
Holding on Slovenia = US PK.
Goal should have stood!

Fvcking BS worst call ever in the history of WC play!
