mx610 is basically a wireless mx500

anyways, my first mouse was i think a generic one then i started using dell's mouse, the one that came with the comp. After few days i saw a wireless microsoft mouse for 20$. Started using it for few months then it started quitting on me. i felt laggy response from the mouse. the signal was dying often times. So finally one day i couldnt take it anymore and i just slammed the mouse on the desk. it stopped working after that. Later in the week, my friend and me opened the m$ mouse and looked for any damage. Well guess what, part of the circuit board broke from the heavy slamming 😛 . Anyway so after that incident i wanted to get something decent and went for the logitech MX518. Best mouse ever especially when you use it with funC 1030 mousepad. now i am thinking of getting those slickpads to see if they make any diffrence.

No it's not a wireless anything. It's a new mouse with a completely new shape that feels GREAT. Almost as good as my old Explorer 3.0
 
a wacom tablet for what?
could u use that for gaming maybe draw a b.a.g.
i just bought my pad from wal mart for 5 freakin dollars
 
MS Intellimouse (corded) --> Razer Diamondback (took a couple weeks to get used to, but couldn't go back after) ---> Razer Copperhead (wouldn't have spent the $ to upgrade, but it was an eval i got through work)
 
Logitech Trackball-Marble Mouse
Nothing but!!! I can't stand having to move my arm and wrist around. Plus, I have a standard computer desk and the standard keyboard tray on most desks don't leave enough room next to the keyboard for a mouse pad or maximum movement of a regular mouse. I could put a regular mouse on the upper level but then I am not only straining my arm from movement but also from the higher level. Anyone else feel that way??? I like the trackball cuz I simply move my cursor around with minimal mouse movement just like a lappy mouse pad. 🙂
 
the IT person just dropped off a shiny new mouse for me.

it's a Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000.

And let me tell you, this thing is fantastic. I'm considering buying one for home, although I doubt it would make for a very good gaming mouse. Like the title suggests, this mouse is just so COMFORTABLE! The gel-like material which they used to cover the wheel feels amazing. This is also the first mouse I have used which has "magnify" as an option.

Fantastic mouse, looks & feels great. Highly recommended.
 
I have a G5 and a MX510. (wired mouse, can't stand wireless no matter how long the battery lasts).
I use the G5 on my Opty Rig, and the MX510 on my other rig.
Both are by Logitech.
 
MX1000. I love it, and I notice no lag whatsoever.

Before, I had a MX700, and liked that too. And before that I had a Logitech iTouch Mouseman...and it RULED.
 
Here at home I'm using hte same 3 button Logitec Mouseman I used at work nearly 10 years ago. 🙂 It's starting to have a lot of glitcjes though, gonna have to upgrade. This thing just feels like an extension of my hand, it's hard to let go. 🙂 I've tried a couple and just hadn't found one I really liked in the past. Especially for Autocad stuff.

Currently at work I'm using the Dell mouse that came with my new desktop. It's not bad for office/cad work, but I defiantely want to upgrade that as well.
