Oh god the skins... Can't believe we lost to the Vikings (well not so much) and the Bucs... already talking about getting rid of RG3. He seems to bring it on himself though. He just can't handle losing with any grace or maturity.

Wherever else he goes he will be successful. Skins are cursed ... or our owner is just shit and it trickles down. :(

Will make or break Seattle's season, IMO.

I guess we will see if Russ Wilson is an elite QB this year, or was just a product of a physical defense.

I think he's a good qb, nothing to do with his defense...Go Cards!

I'm sure hoping that Oakland pulls off an upset tomorrow but considering it's a Thursday, I expect the Chiefs to win 42-9.

But...but...but...he's better than Luck! :D (sorry, not directed at you, but couldn't resist poking the RGIII fans out there who I know are lurking but won't repeat their dumb comments from a couple of years ago)

While I agree with your comments about Snyder, realize one thing -- RGIII, if he does get traded or leaves Washington, will very likely be going to a bad team again and his attitude has probably reduced the pool of teams who would show interest. I think he will be back next year in Washington but after that, what teams would take a chance on him? I can only think of a few based on what we know of existing QB situations which obviously could change in a couple of years:

1. Chicago (if they give up on Cutler)
2. Tampa
3. Tennessee
4. Houston
5. Jets
6. Giants (if Eli is gone)

and of course, the most lulzy possibility of all -- the RAMS!

I love this TITLE

Lovie bowl should be entertaining. Mccown VS Cutlet battle royale. I have a feeling Josh is gonna make Chicago miss him.

Bears losses this year are starting to look like they met up with teams on the way to superbowl in NE and GB and the playoffs in the fins. Bears should have been more competitive but damn NE and GB are doing that to everybody.

btw rob simple titles are really best.

Bears will will some games this month but still lose two games before end of the season so this season has already been lost. Wish we had lost a few more to get a STUD OT next year.

Hey look, fans are fed up with Jeff Geor --- errr, I mean, Jay Cutler.

http://mmqb.si.com/2014/11/19/jay-cutler-marc-trestman-chicago-bears-nfl/

I'd file that under the "Well, DUH" category of articles. The GM who signed him to that big contract should be canned too.

ya that article is a bit of a hit piece though after the season Cutlet has had he deserves it. Was a HUGE mistake signing him to that contract though I think Cutlet could end up on the Rams next year if Fish wants to win now. Of the big available QBs would you rather have Cutler or RG3? Hell I would take rex grossman over RG3 right now. Rams are used to paying mediocre Qbs 12 million so 15 next year isnt gonna mean anything to them cap wise. If Carr was a big disappointment in Raiders land he would have ended up there. Texans could bite knowing they could run a ball control offense and let cutler throw 20 times a game. Historically Cutler has done very well when he only throws a ball control game. I think a number of teams will want cutler if he plays well the rest of the season as he will to save his ass. He always does this. When shit is out of hand he calms down and produces.

Seeing all the players ride Lovies Jock this week made me laugh. Most of the fans would probably take trestman over lovie still. I know I would. Dont get me wrong. Lovie is a great Defensive coach. He just shouldnt have ANY say in an offense or personnel.

People need to look at the bears roster. This team was set back a decade by Jerry Angelo. The big holes in bears roster are his fault. While Phil has made a few mistakes he traded up for Alshon and found Long and a possible rookie of the year though his broken hand has ended his picks for now.

Bears biggest issue is still offensive line. Bears over valued who they had and Bushrod fell off a cliff this year. Mills isnt starter quality and depth was suspect. Trestman should be given props for discovering Ola who has been awesome and should get consideration for rookie of the year playing ALL positions outside of center this year.

I think Russ is overrated. Last year, can we really say he was the reason why they are Champs? They allowed only 270 ypg last year (up to 306 which still puts them at 3rd), and I don't think its a coincidence that since their defense isn't allowed to play the way they played last year, they're in danger of possibly not making the playoffs.

I just don't think Wilson is elite.

I don't see him as having a bad attitude. He is very young, coming off a few injuries, and losing. Why are they even letting him to press interviews? That is a recipe for disaster. Not to mention, he was right. The entire team, minus maybe Morris, are playing like shit and it isn't doing him any favors. He might have worded it poorly (he should have said "we need to play better" rather than "calling out" everyone else), but he knows he needs to get better.

I wouldn't mind seeing him on a good team and getting a chance. If he focuses on being a pocket passer, he can be very successful AND have wheels to burn free rushers.

Also, Tate to the Vikings and Blount to the Pats (again). And someone called it in the other thread. BB is snatching up Blount to keep him off other teams IMO.

Dont' know what defense has to do with a QB on the field...

Look at his O-Line this year, which is probably the worst in the league. Even so, they were dismantling teams up until the Harvin trade, which sent them into a 3 game spin as their offensive scheme needed a completely new system.

They're still winning, he's still tossing for 2 TD/nearly 200 per game, he has what--5 rushing TD and some 500 rushing yards this season as a QB--behind the worst O Line?

Important question: have you actually watched them play, or do you just read articles and look at numbers?

This. While, I wouldn't put Wilson at Manning / Brady level, he is certainly proved himself to be much more than capable. His best asset, IMO, is that despite being extremely mobile, he is pass first.
