Been out of the house all day. Eagles fans...we got Sanchized...please get well soon Foles.

Detroit Lions. Ok, I think we have to categorize Matthew Stafford as another QB who has a great arm, but can't do shit. Seriously, this guy is wasting the talents of his defense and Megatron.

When Eli Manning sucks, he really really sucks.

Peyton Manning...wtf was that game today? Against the RAMS!?!

I been making fun of Robert Griffin III, but I seriously wonder if at this point he will have a worse career than Rex Grossman III.

New England looking scarier and scarier...

I think everyone is underestimating how well the Arizona D really is, 9-1 is the best in the NFL right now. As for Sanchez, really Rodgers had the Philly D on it's heels early and often, Sanchez did throw 2 picks but when your down by 30 you give the opposing defense a chance to play pass only and it's a huge advantage. On to RG3, perhaps the most overrated draft pick EVER and the skins will have to eat part of his contract and dump him. Patriots O-line has been performing at a very high level for 4-5 weeks in a row, heck Brady threw 2 picks today and it still didn't matter much as NE coasts to an easy win, they face GB in GB in 2 weeks, THAT should be a ballgame to watch, although they beat the Colts today Luck connected on several long passes that found the NE secondary out of position, do that with Rodgers in GB and he will make you pay.

It wasn't all Sanchez's fault by far. Rodgers just overwhelmed the Philly D and put them in a huge hole, to begin with. And the Eagles O line gave their QB by far the worst protection they have all year long. Packers were coming in unblocked or having quickly won their one on one battles.

It was truly a team loss for the Eagles. :(

Arizona D playing amazing but if you're watching as a Lions fan, Stafford has arguably the best wide receiver in the game and a defense that isn't shabby either. Stafford can make some amazing plays and has a great arm but I don't see him taking it to the next level. He's not a bust but I think it's getting close to the point where you say he hasn't progressed to the level where you can say that you'll win a SB with him.

As for Sanchez, really Rodgers had the Philly D on it's heels early and often, Sanchez did throw 2 picks but when your down by 30 you give the opposing defense a chance to play pass only and it's a huge advantage.
Problem is...if Sanchez was in sync with the offense, Greenbay should never have been able to drop 30 on them pretty much uncontested. While I do agree he should not take the full blame, he didn't do much to help his case if he wants to be a starting NFL QB again.

On to RG3, perhaps the most overrated draft pick EVER and the skins will have to eat part of his contract and dump him. [/quote'

Most overrated might be Jamarcus Russel...but I think we both agree RG3 is close to having the "bust" label slapped on him. I'm giving him one more season under Jay Gruden to see if he progresses before I officially consider him a bust. Not that I mind considering my Eagles play Washington twice every season.

GB and NE game in two weeks is definitely a must watch. I'm also going to say the NFC East title is likely won/lost on Thanksgiving. If Philadelphia wins, I think they win the division, and if Dallas wins, I think Dallas wins the division.

Granted that's the case but he just doesn't seem in sync with the offense. The drives he lead didn't do much considering Philadelphia is considered an offensive minded team. 6 points at the half just doesn't cut it. I'm actually thinking McCoy needs to be benched. He hasn't done much all year. Can't keep blaming the O-Line. At some point, gotta look at McCoy.

I thought Mark Sanchez played pretty well for someone that has been on the bench for a while. Threw for more yards than Rodgers and had a similar completion rate (59 vs 61).

If the eagles defense did better maybe he could have been a little more conservative on his pass's but instead had to try and carry the team and that's when QBs give up Ints and other issues trying to force it.

All things considered he was not as bad as people think. You think Foles could put up more than 53 points?

And the Atlanta Falcons... the current South div leaders with a 4-6 record. :)

This could be one of those cases where they win the division yet the coach is still fired.

it's time for bobby three sticks to head back for the sideline, mccoy wins 2, and since then the team has looked like crap.

The rumor was that Gruden was forced to put RGIII back in the lineup when healthy. I would hope that the plan is to give RGIII the rest of the year to prove himself and Gruden won't be blamed if he keeps stinking it up, but I bet Gruden is pissed regardless.

EDIT: LOL

I'd say there is a very, very good chance that he won't be a beloved patriot after next year.

i'm not disagreeing with you, but anyone who thinks that rg3 is the only/primary problem with the redskins clearly is not paying attention.

Of course not -- their primary problem is their owner.

well yeah, but i was referring to the people who are on the field and sidelines.

and anyone who thinks colt mccoy is the answer is also clueless about football.

ps. the washington dc area has the dumbest fans in the nfl.

Until proven otherwise, Colt McCoy currently gives them the best chance to win. He is probably not the longterm answer, but I don't think a lab-created QB monster combination of Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, and John Elway would win consistently there either.

How about that non-call push against Seattle receiver in the end zone? At least refs are consistent.

It was a good call. Incidental contact, no hands. The seattle receiver really tried to sell it though and the ref wasn't having it.

Of course not, you'd have to add in Steve Young for superior mobility.

I've been predicting for a couple years that the Rams will trade a low round pick to them for RG3. Who will then beat WAS in a playoff game and complete the full circle of the 'Skins humiliation in getting fucked over by the trade.

ya it's a short term fix, which is what the redskins have been doing for ages. i hope they let rg3 playout the year to find out whether or not he is their long term solution. right now it seems obvious that it isn't. but at least if he proves it even further the next 6 games, they will know what direction to go after the season ends.

putting mccoy (or cousins) in for the rest of the season will do nothing. the skins have no chance of going anywhere this season. they need to win out and have the cowboys and eagles like lose out. it's not going to happen no matter who is back there.

I will laugh so hard if RGIII ends up with the Rams and becomes a legitimate star.

I think they should leave RG3 in. Worst case scenario, he sucks and they know his rookie season was a fluke. Best case, he actually develops into a decent QB and they can either keep him or trade him, as his value would have increased.

I would hope that's the plan, but we are talking about the Redskins here.
