I'm a BIT dissappointed in my 3000+ Does ~2466 @ default volts (Most seem to do ~ 2600 or more) and maxes at 2666 @ 1.7vcore which is exactly where my winchester 0437 WPMW maxxed. It does hit 2500mhz and 2600mhz at lower vcores than the Winny though, so I might get 2700-2750 with a little burn in I figure. These are DEFINATELY better then current winnies anyway.

I just got my 3200+ today. It has written on it LBBLE and 0516EPGW. I don't know what to make of it.

Well, it was a busy day indeed. I do hope that I didn't miss anyone that had emailed me on these cpus. I appreciate all the kind words that I've seen in here, it makes it all worthwhile. I hope everyone has a safe weekend, and please, try not to fry the cpu. ;)

MonarchJoe, aside from installing and updating the bios and drivers for those who buy the package from your shop, can they also overclock the cpu and ram? That will save me some time in tweaking and tinkering and avoiding damage.

LOL! Good luck with that one:D

LOL!!!!I know that was funny GuitarDaddy, just taking the advantage since I'm going to buy from them.

Part of the fun in oc'ing is doing it yourself and gaining the knowledge of how to do what you are doing, at least IMO. Plus, they most likely would only go for a "safe" overclock, and not push it as far as you probably could on your own. If you take it slow you run little chance of doing any damage to anything yourself.

Yes I would, since I don't have time to tweak and tinker with it because I'm too busy with my job. If they would do a "safe" overclock, it's still fine with me since I really don't want to go near or over the edge of overclocking. I would love to overclock it my self but it will take time for me to do it since I'm busy on my job.;)

A safe overclock will be quite easy I assure you. If you want a safe overclock, just bump the fsb up to 220, that should be just fine for a "safe" overclock.

Plain and simple overclock with pc3200 and 3000+. Set to 245 FSB, memory at 166. This will keep your memory at pc3200 but make your 3000+ a 3500+ (2.2ghz).

Eagerly awaiting information on the 3700+ OEMs... assembled everything else today and now just a gaping hole for CPU & HSF!

Give us some good news, Mr. Joe!

I'm usually a newegg person, but monarch's service was great. I ordered a 3800+ Sunday, processed this morning Monday, and they even bumped me up to overnight shipping too. Too bad I'm out of town until Wednesday, but that was great of them to do that. I must have squeaked in on the last of the batch, because earlier today the 3800+ went from shipping in 1-2 days to ETA May 6.

hahahaha That's a fantastic picture, ohfreak.

I got my chip and mobo combo today (thanks Joe!) but I won't be able to even set it up until the end of this week, once finals are done and finished. Damn school, always getting in the way of the things that really matter!

Not a Sonata- the HD trays are wrong. Also, what's that red thing on top? Pretty clean wiring job so far.

Any word on the 3700's yet? The suspense is killing me. I can deal with the 5/6 date, but 5/18 would pretty much suck since I shipped off my old processor yesterday.

Indeed it's an Antec... but not the Sonata. SLK-3000B! Pretty daggum cheap.

Red thing on top was the antistatic bag from the video card. Heh! Sloppy me.

Wiring job not quite done... reading on DFI-Street and everyone is advocating connecting the additional two power connectors to ensure stability, even though DFI officially doesn't mention that unless you're running SLI. Still gotta wire tie some of that stuff back for uber-anal cleanliness. :)

The PSU is an Athena Power as referenced by FastEddie in this thread:

http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview...hreadid=1504383&enterthread=y&arctab=y

Darn cheap and if you believe Mr. Eddie, will do the job w/o breaking a sweat. Unconfirmed as it's... lacking... a... CPU.

Wee!

I do expect Retail box versions to arrive sooner than the 20th, especially for current pre-orders. I will post more exact dates once these are provided to me.

I also expect more 3700+ and 4000+ OEM cpus early next week.

... back to making sure cpus go out the door!

Any info on the San Diego OEMs yet?

New update.

3700+ and 4000+ San Diego OEM cpus: I will be receiving some of these in on Friday. This should take care of older pre-orders. The next batch will be the Friday thereafter. (Fingers crossed of course) I'm completely at AMD's mercy on these chips, and am doing all we can to get as many in as possible.

Retail box cpus, I still have no firm information on these. :frown: Again, as soon as I can get some info on these I will post up.

Also, I've been really busy so if I haven't gotten to your PM or email I will! (Home system died on Sunday, and been shorthanded here so I haven't been around as much as I would like)

Yah... but their ResellerRatings *rating* is under 1 if I remember correctly. And it's an extra $60 to boot (if ordering from the US).
