Posted it there.

I've got to buy two more toys before I can say my system is complete. First is some better RAM (this CH-5 stuff is garbage). Second is a beefier PSU.

At the moment though, the bank is broke.

Ya did good dude. You made some new customers. I usually buy from NewEgg and ZipZoom because they're in my geogrpahical area (definitely Blue State) but I'll keep you guys on my short list from here on. I'd post a rating as you requested on your e-mail but reseller's Web site has a horrible interface.... anyway, thumbs up from me.

***EDIT: Got my San Diego 3700+ this morning. Now I have to see if it's a good idea to try it out without a BIOs flash. I may have to wait for a little bit....****

MonarchJoe, aside from installing and updating the bios and drivers for those who buy the package from your shop, can they also overclock the cpu and ram? That will save me some time in tweaking and tinkering and avoiding damage.

Anyone hear any word of people installing these Venices in motherboards that won't boot up? I'm really worried about buying one of these and then not being able to boot in a board due to the BIOS. I am looking at the MSI K8N Neo2 Plantinum.....

Mueng, I emailed MSI using their website about that very same issue, although concerning the Neo4 SLI mobo. They told me that motherboard would post, but would probably detect the speed of the CPU incorrectly. They expect a new BIOS out soon for that mobo.

In short, just send them a message. They got back to me in about 5 minutes, literally.

Cornholio....even if they did OC it for you, why would you want them to do that? Part of the fun in oc'ing is doing it yourself and gaining the knowledge of how to do what you are doing, at least IMO. Plus, they most likely would only go for a "safe" overclock, and not push it as far as you probably could on your own. If you take it slow you run little chance of doing any damage to anything yourself.

Hey MonarchJoe, I left you a PM about an order I placed. When you get a chance, please check it out.
Thanx!

I just wanted to say thanks MonarchJoe. I didn't expect my combo to ship on Friday. Hell I was hoping for Tuesday. You guys are quick.

I think you have a new customer.

Same here. The guys at Monarch stayed late to get these out for us. I appreciate the effort MonarchJoe (and the rest of your coworkers). The box from Monarch arrived this morning. :D

Wouldn't it be a shame if I was "sick" tomorrow and had to stay home all day. ;) Oh, then I could have the time to install all of my new computer hardware. :) It won't be until this weekend that I'll be able to overclock it.

Thanks for the quick reply, wasn't sure if yours was a combo. Seems I need to make a phonecall now. I sent out a email saturday and havent received a response yet. :(

**Update*** I called and seems they are. I did a change of order so that could of been the delay also. Mine should ship out tomorrow.

I got my motherboard/CPU combo this morning from Monarch. A change to your order could easily put you lower in the stack of orders to be shipped.

I'd really like tochange my order to something I can get right away (Plus leave a 3700+ on Backorder)

Newegg has actually raised the price on the 3500 Venice to over $300. I should have ordered it last week at $272.

My 3000+ arrived today with stickers and a very nice t-shirt. I'll be testing it tonight.

I just checked Monarch site and the 3700+ now show 19th of May. It was the 6th of May this morning. Does this mean that the second shipment of 3700+ has been delayed, or that the second shipment is gone already? I checked my preorder status and it still shows at the warehouse.

Busy busy day.

I will update soon on new dates for Retail cpus as well as the San Diego OEM chips. I'm a few people short today so I'm wearing about 4 hats. :frown: So I have not forgotten about you if you've PM'd me or emailed me!
