Note: All prices are for retail 3000+.
UPDATE!!! Monarch's 3500+ are in!
EDIT 2: Hmm...did a quick look on Pricewatch (not that they're totally relable) and got nothin'.
Update: AMD so paper launched these. ETA looking like early to Mid-May at the earliest. No Orders have been shipped for venices to my knowledge.
Udate again: Froogle is listing 10 confirmed resellers for the venices:
OK! First one I found, was at ncix $179.61, but they're out of stock.
Froogle has 10 listings right now:
BLT $167.05
needthese.com $162.00
sparco.com $154.07
buy.com $165.99
systech $169.76
Kernel Software $161.77
Neutron USA $163.24
Computer HQ $168.10
Best Selections Unlimited $164.95
monarch computers $154.00 (a good price!)
Sale On All has a listing at Froogle for the amazing(ly high) price of $192, but their website is 404.
Everyone's still sold out though, or preordering.
EDIT (yet again): News!

Here's the latest I have.

120208 which is the 3800+ 512k Rev E. = 4/28
120209 which is the 4000+ 1 meg Rev E. = 4/30
120206 which is the 3500+ 512k Rev E. = 4/27

We are having plenty of these cpus arriving, so pre-orders plus new orders should be fine without delays. As always, if I hear anything else I'll keep you guys posted.

Joe (Item code 000229)

The above is straight from the mouth of monarch, so its gotta be right.

rise4310 says that his ETA for a 3200 venice is 5/6 for the OEM. I wonder if they're re-working the HSFU, since all the retail ones are shipping later...

update 4/27: Newegg has the 3500 venice's in stock. newegg

Once you guys get your venices, go here <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=28&threadid=1579220&e
<b">terthread=y">Offical Venice overclock thread</a> and report your results!

Make this the last thread on this topic....place official or whatever inthe title and ask for ppl to only add links to confirmed sites preordering or selling....just update this thread...there is like a dozen of these a day....

Just do a search with "venice" in it and see what I mean....

NCIX in Canada has them for preorder. That and one place in the UK , one in Germany, and one in Sweden are the only ones I've seen

NCIX US is the only that has them even listed. They're out of stock too.

mwave, new egg, ZZF, all not even listed yet.

For what is worth, I emailed Monarch about a week ago inquiring the availability of the following items:

-ASUS A8N-E Premium
-ASUS A8N-SLI Premium
-Athlon64 3500/3800+ "Venice"

I got an email reply this morning:

Thank you for your request. The Asus A8N-E and the SLI Premium will be
available in the month of April. The AMD will be added to our site this
week for Pre-Order and be available next week. Please let me know if
you have further questions. Thank you for your time and patience. We
appreciate your business.

This is the email I just got from Monarch'a sales department regarding the Venice...

"We do not have an ETA on these processors at this time. We will post this on the website once we have confirmed an ETA."

jenneth, did you fill out the request form to ask about Venice or did you email sales directly?

can't wait to get my hands on the Venice and A8N-E Premium, if this mobo really exist. Monarch didn't specify if it's the standard A8N-E or the Premium one?

Yesterday, before I noticed this thread, I put up a couple of links to some U.S. resellers now listing (but not shipping yet) boxed E3 core A64s over here. Today Buy.com has climbed aboard. Change the 3500 in the search URL to 3000 or 3200 or 3800 and you'll find that the same group of dealers is listing all of them (probably because they all drop-ship stuff from distributors like Ingram Micro, which must have just entered those CPUs into their master catalog).

p.s.--Pricewatch is "not totally reliable," as noted by the op, because it is not an all-expansive web search engine in the manner of Google/Froogle, but merely a compendium of commercial advertisments. A PriceWatch search seeks hits only from a cloistered database of listings paid for by resellers.

Thanks for the update cyburzaki. Shopblt.com looks interesting.

This is what they say about the availibity of the 3200 and 3500 BPBOX.

"This item is ordered from the factory as needed. After you place your order, we will order this item from the manufacturer into our warehouse. We will ship the item to you when it arrives in our warehouse, usually within three to ten business days from the date you ordered."

Worth a shot?

so does that mean the a8n-e premium is finally coming out? the reply said a8n-e but you said a8n-e premium. plenty of retailers already have the a8n-e in stock.

It can be interpreted as A8N-E/A8n-SLI Premium.
