*official* Usc vs Notre Dame 11/25

I never thought I'd be cheering for the cross-town Trojans, but I really don't want to see Mich/OSU again..even if that means the Trojans sweep the Irish and Bruins.

A USC win will pretty much guarantee a #2 spot after this week, since right now they have 1/6 of the computers putting them at #2..and 2/6 as of now will put them down .922 to .923, so a win will either push the comps to at least 2/6 or 3/6 putting them at #2, with more pollsters putting them at #2 giving them that thousandth of a point.

go Trojans. even though they had some close calls, i rather see USC/ Florida rather another rematch of OSU / UM or fiesta bowl rematch from last year OSU / ND.

Why?

I think its kind of unfair for Ohio State as well to have to beat the same team twice to win the National Title

Yeah plus I about had a heart attack watching that game. Besides I bet those guys with the funny looking helmets are getting sick watching replays of Beanie and Pittman rip off 50 yard runs on them.

Hehe... you hear Hart criticize our D? Mayhap he should look at his own team's D... you know... that #1 run D that gave up all those yards on the ground. I think Woodley is still trying to make that tackle on Troy.

But I digress... what was the question again? Oh yeah, I'd rather see the Trojans win than Domer. Be nice to get a shot at USC... be like the old Rose Bowls all over again.

Well, both USC and Notre Dame have had close calls. USC has had bigger wins while Notre Dame has the bigger loss (as in, the team they lost to had a very high rank).

I think that this game will show that one team has been real all along but had some slips that they've recovered from while the other was just a pretender all along...

Which is which?

I guess we'll see on Saturday...which is better than seeing the pretender get slaughtered come bowl time, I guess

UGH I swear, if ND gets the national championship nod, I will throw my computer out the window.

SUCH a weak schedule, their even being ranked as high as they are is such a JOKE.

That being said, I hope ND loses badly to show how overrated they are this year.

Should be fun to watch Weis have a meltdown after the BCS Championship Game if they do get the nod. OSU put up 600+ yards on them last year, wonder what they could do this year. 😉

I have to hope that USC loses.

Notre Dame could win this game by 100. They aren't getting into the championship game.

ND needs to get back in big east. they whined out to be independent.
Notre Dame was never in the Big East Conference for Football. They are in the Big East currently for all other sports that they sponsor.

...because some people are fans of their teams before fans of the sport.

No, because being fans of the sport we realize that a rematch would prove nothing.
Rematch has nothing to do with it. Everyone finishes their schedule and the top 2 teams play. If Mich is ranked #2 when all is said and done, we can have this discussion again in the National Championship OSU / Mich thread.

edit: by the way, anyone who wouldn't want to see those two teams play again is retarded.
