This country is going full fascist. The Dems so far seem incapable of rising up to this moment to at least cause any major delays in that happening. Their leadership is just oblivious on how to handle this. It's like they know nothing about history. It's pathetic. They need to figure this out fast because it's going to happen very fast if they don't wake the hell up.

At this point the only thing that will teach any Americans what MAGA is about is to suffer the consequences of all the money going to the rich and this becoming an autocratic oligarchy. They will learn no other way, and even then only some of them will, but learn they will. The shitty part is all the rest of us actually decent people will have to suffer along with them.

There is no foreign adversary that can or will take down the US via war, which is one of the main ways horrific right wing regimes have been taken down before, so we are likely going to be in this for the long haul - it's going to take a while to fight this from the inside once they install only loyalists to enough positions within the government, from the DOJ to the DOD.

I have no idea what the dumbfuck Dem leadership is thinking that is for sure.

You could move to another country...

Trump’s official presidential portrait just dropped:

Dude literally thinks giving that “alpha male” stare down with the kids-telling-scary-stories-using-flashlight lighting from below makes him look intimidating and strong.
I thought this was just a touched up version of his mugshot. It's nearly identical.

"well known" is a wee bit of an overstatement I think. "You may have heard of these people at some point before" is more apt.

One reasons MAGA is still so angry even in victory is that they assumed cultural victory would follow and it's not. They hunger for respect and recognition that they were right which is not forthcoming.
He has to hire D list talent. Leaves more money from the inauguration donations to put in his pocket.

Trump got Mike Turner removed from running the House Intelligence Committee. While we don't know which Trump sycophant will replace him, this is bad for everyone.

Where did you get that Trump did this? I didn't see that in the article. BUT I did see this from the Speaker:

“This is not a President Trump decision. This is a House decision, and this is no slight whatsoever to our outgoing chairman. He did a great job,” Johnson said. “The intelligence community and everything related to (the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence), it needs a fresh start. And that’s what this is about. Nothing else.”

Turner told CBS News’ Margaret Brennan that Johnson had cited “concerns from Mar-a-Lago” as the reason for the decision.

The Speaker is known to, you know, lie.

I didn't....

The correct answer is you did not vote for him in 2024

Anyone who did any type of research would of concluded in 2016 would have known who they are voting for

A person doesn’t get 20+ women from over the years say he committed sexual assault that is innocent
But you were harder on Al franken than trump
