Official Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon Thread

Got my tickets for tomorrow at 9:30 for 3D. $69 bucks for 4 tickets. Fucking crazy. Good thing I had two of the living social tickets.

A friend took me last night. I'll have to admit, that I'm not a Transformer fan. I did see the first two Transformer movies, and they were just sort of OK. This movie I'll have to say is the best. If you want to see Chicago totally destroyed by robots, a hot chick who runs through the destroyed city without ever getting her white shirt even a bit dirty, well this is the movie for you. Non stop action, great special effects, a few good funny lines, even from the robots, and a few surprises. This will certainly be one of the best movies this summer.
 
Watched 20 mins of the first one, terrible. Kill it with fire.

The first one was fine for the brainless action movie that it was. The 2nd one couldn't even get the brainless action part right because you couldn't see anything, so yeah... unless a large group decides to go and I have nothing better to do then I don't see me going.

Also, I didn't realize this was already out. Without school summer is just trucking by like normal.
 
Huh did you guys not read the reviews? Pretty much everyone says this is way better than the 2nd one (not surprising, as its almost impossible to make it worse)

And Im pretty sure the rating was at 7.2 the other day and has now gone up to 7.5... Im intrigued
 
I dont know what yall are complaining about, I thought #2 was a good movie - not great, but good.

The local theater is supposed to have #3 wednesday, my wife and I have plans to go see it.

Overall, I thought the first 2 movies were good.
 
LOL at all of the idiots in this thread that watched the 2nd one after saying the first one sucked.

I'll laugh again when you watch the 3rd one as well. My bet is that people watch it cause they enjoy whining about everything.

Reviews are pretty much meaningless, especially with regards to actions films. I will not trust the same fuckers who thought Michael Clayton was a good movie.

Makes me want to watch it even more. I see these movies for the flashy effects because I love CG and the work that goes into making it pretty.
 
I will watch it!.... but only if paid an absurd amount of money.

It will be absolute shit, like the first two.
 
Why can't bay and company make the Decepticons more colorful instead of all silver? Bay has 5 years to make three transformers movies, and by the 3rd one, his cgi team could off add some colors to Megatron and the decepticons at least.
