There is a reason they like these bridges...its the same reason why bridges appear and each and every Euro note...they are symbols of European Unity and strength.

That's not the reason they appear on Top Gear though - Clarkson wouldn't have anything to do with that idea!!
He is just a big fan of civil engineering and loves bridges/tunnels/you name it.
He presented a great program a while back proclaiming Isambard Kingdom Brunel to be the greatest Briton ever.

In the end a guy who built bridges was voted second greatest ever Briton behind Sir Winston Churchill on the grounds of Jeremy Clarkson's show.

Was it me or was that Zonda F test drive really short??

Not you. It was. Wasn't much to say. It came. It conquered.

and why didnt Clarkson test drive it??

I've noticed that the Hamster has been doing more "first segment" driving. Because of Clarkson's back? Or perhaps they want to spread some of the on-screen wealth to other cast members?

That was a tremendous episode. I too would like to have seen more about the Zonda F - I honestly thought there was no way in hell it would beat the MC12 (essentially a harder-core Enzo) around the track, and it beat it soundly. It seems to me that might be the most desirable car in the world at this moment. Hopefully they'll run the Veyron around the track next week - the Zonda F may not hold its record for long.

Ha, anyone notice on the Zonda/GT/F430 episode, when Richard tries to get out of the garage the 2nd time and his Zonda hits the ground the 2nd time, they just replay his reaction from the first time again?
