<< She just dialed it like it was committed to memory or on the cop's speed dial >>

Well... this just follows the "magic cell phone" theory of 24. Everyone has a neverending battery that can make calls all day. They work no matter where you are... including in bunkers. Oh, and everyone knows everyone else's number by heart.

Also, when they called in the swat team to raid the bunker... they claimed to be "15 minutes" away, then like 2 minutes later they were storming the bunker. If their biggest hook is that things are happening in real time, they should pay more attention to details such as this

Totally agree with you on that one. It's happened in a couple of other episodes too - like the one where that guy shot the power company guy off the bridge - that happened at like 5:59 - then the next episode at 6:01 there were cops and meds all over the place

Oh yea - I think there's a difference between CTU field teams and field agents, although I do agree that they get killed pretty easily

OK OK, new thread next week, I get it! 😉

I'm surprised that 24 hasn't done a tie-in with a cell phone maker. I'm sure it'd be big bucks for Nokia to have their name plastered all over there superphones. Or maybe all the phones use that "antenna booster" they sell for $9.95 (or 50 cents on e-bay)...

Didn't they say that 3 assassins were deployed after Gaines had failed? One was Alexis Drazen, the other was the guy Tony killed. Was the third the other Drazen brother, or someone I'm forgetting about right now, or not revealed yet?

24 has done a tie-in - all cell phones used are Samsung phones on the Sprint PCS network (Alexis', Jack, the cop's cell from last night)

I think the other assasin just hasn't been named....at the Palmer briefing they showed pictures of 3 guys....one was Alexis.....the other two I forgot though

There was one time in the show where they couldn't get a signal on the phone, right? Being on the Sprint PCS network would explain that, but it doesn't make sense that only one time that has happened. And not one dropped call during the entire show? Now I know it's pure fiction.

As for the third assassin, what about the guy that was grabbing at Kim. He was wearing a ski mask so he may be the third. We don't know anything about him yet so he may turn out to be the third. He is definitely in on it because he was driving the same red van as the others.

Thanks for that info RagingBITCH. How do you know it's Sprint PCS tho'?

Hmm... just did a quick skim of fox.com/24. It looks like the third assassin's name is Mishko Suba.

The third assassin was killed when they attacked the safe house. The two assassins were running out after the girls and the half dead agent stumbled out of the house and killed him.

What about the assasin who looked like the photographer? Was he one of Gaines' men, so we won't see him anymore?

Was the red van that smashed into the cop car with Kim in it one of the vans from the prison getaway, or do they all just have red vans now?

I say Tony is crooked.....how would the the Drazen gang have known where Kim was? Also, if Drazen really thinks that Bauer's wife and daughter are going to die soon too, doesn't that imply that he knows where she is too? That would explain Tony coming out of the office to pick her up..though he must have been told to eliminate the other assasin so there are no witnesses, or something like that...

What kind of screwed up logic is that? If Tony is trying to help get the wife and daughter killed why in the hell would he shoot an assasin that's about to kill her? Witnesses? Pfffffft......

I would like to find out how the gang knew where Kim was though. Somebody is dirty but I doubt it's Tony.

Tony I dont think is dirty, he just wants to put it in Nina. The one that I get the inkling that is dirty is Mason. Regardless of who it is, there is someone that is dirty that is still in CTU.

I had noticed the cell phone thing too. I found it hard to believe that it would work in that bunker and all over LA perfectly without a single "Can you hear me now" 🙂

not really, rememeber that one phone that ran outa batteries in the barn? 😉

<< not really, rememeber that one phone that ran outa batteries in the barn? >>

but that was only to keep the plot going... if it was someone who needed the phone to work, it would definitely work and never run out of batteries. they could have a goddamn conference call for hours on end and nobody would have a problem wiht the call
