I hesitated on Dead Space because of the DRM warning on the steam page, and then missed the sale. I note Wikipedia claims the steam version doesn't have the limited activations of the disk version - is this true? Has the limited activation not been removed as it was for bioshock? I'm not interested in anything with limited activations (though I'll have to wait for another sale now!).

I know it's a pipe dream, but I'd love if they put every item they've had on sale (during this sale), on sale again tomorrow. It'd cost us folks a lot of money me thinks, but I'd be a big fan!

If you don't have Company of Heroes, BUY IT NOW. One of the best games from any genre I've played.

They'll put the best sellers from this week on sale tomorrow, that's what they did last week.

What do you think the recap titles will be? Any guesses? I thought it ran to the 3rd....so shouldn't the 2nd have more new sales?

I'm hoping some titles I missed go back on sale again. I was really dumb on some items. Some days I felt like spending, and others I kicked myself for the previous day. Today is one of those days.

No idea, like i said, they usually put the #1 and #2 best sellers of that day on sale on the last day. I'm only speculating based on what they did last week.

If you're interested there's a mod out for Railroads! called intercontinental: http://www.moddb.com/mods/sid-meiers-railroads-intercontinental which adds 200MPH trains, new maps which are larger, new cargo and a few other items.

The vast majority of EA games (including Dead Space) don't have DRM on Steam other than what Steam uses itself. The only one I know that does is Crysis Warhead, which uses SecuROM to limit how many active copies can be installed at once.

I bought Dead Space from EA store, 0 issues with DRM. Download, install, play.

Zeno Clash looks trippy. Worth it at 3.75? I too am looking at Divinity, but I might have a few too many RPGs right now I need to play to really get into another one.

did not care for Zeno clash. Melee combat in FPS games has never worked well imo.

Dunno I'm downloading the demo for Zeno Clash, might be cool. Wish I bought Lost Horizons when it was on sale though, been wanting to play an old fashion point and click for a while.

Well I didn't think melee in first person would be good either, but I downloaded the demo and at least the tutorial and first few fights are pretty entertaining, plus the graphics are really good and whoever designed this game must be on drugs(meant in a good way). I'm buying it.

Picked up Medal of Honor for $30. So far it seems like a budget game and should be maybe $10. Graphics aren't very good, gameplay is very generic and linear, even more so than the CoD series.

Medal of Honor is a mediocre console port.

To make it worse, MoH is a mediocre console game to begin with.

It's seriously that bad? I'm trying to convince myself to buy it, but everyone I see post about says it's bad.

nothing against ponti, but people have been hating on that game from launch (and its like a hivemind). honestly, it is a very good game if you like to blast the hell out of people, and you are good at shooting the hell out of people.
