-10000 valor to Georg. His posts sounds good but it's as if he doesn't know what is currently happening and being changed.

1.1.2 is supposedly going to reduce the frequency of item tokens and up the frequency of useless commendataions. Making newcomers to level 50 PvP suffer longer than ever.

Centurion items are trash and you can't even get Champion commendations until valor rank 60 at which point you'll likely have most of the champ gear you need and only want the Battlemaster gear tokens.

Champion bags should contain champion commendations with a rare chance at a champion token.

Battlemaster bags should contain battlemaster commendations with a rare chance at a battlemaster token.

Centurion items should be purchasable with warzone/mercenary commendations.

Centurion commendations should be removed.

Champion bags will now have 15 centurion commendations and 7 champion commendations...no randomness anymore. I forget what battlemaster bags will contain, but no more getting 6 of the same item and 0 of most of the other stuff. Additionally, no more 10 bags with nothing versus the friend that got 3 bags with 3 items. Basically, every 5 bags will be 2 centurion items and 1 champion item (give or take a little based on what kind of item you're purchasing).

That's really good news for me, because I already have a nearly complete set of champion gear -- just missing the ear, chest, and boots. I also didn't hand in my 3rd and 4th main hand weapon tokens, so hopefully I'll be able to convert those into a number of centurion tokens and get the stuff that I actually need.

Well, the light armor wearer with the 4.4k armor was most likely a sith assassin/jedi shadow who get a 'stance' that increases their armor by 150%, otherwise those values sound about correct.

Also is there a link for those bag/commendation values? I hadn't seen that yet.

Is there a way to *store* Champion Bags? I'm leveling the last couple levels via pvp and am pretty much completely capped on Warzone and Merc commendations. They're unique but i didn't know if there was a workaround (mailing them to yourself, etc)....

With that said, I'm not sure if "Level 50 Armoring Z" provides the same amount of armor in a light armor orange item as it does in a heavy armor orange item of the same slot though.

Is anyone here running SWTOR on a 7950 or 7970? I just got my 7950 at long last yesterday, and I've still got some testing to do, but so far performance has been pretty abysmal. I'm leaning towards a malfunctioning card given some of the other symptoms, but I'd be curious to see how others with similar cards are performing. I'm running at 1680x1050 with a 7950 and 3.8GHz Phenom II quadcore, and with all in game settings on "Low" or "Off" I was getting 30-40 FPS in Central Assault on Ilum, which judging from some numbers from the people I play with is definitely much too low.

SWTOR is pretty heavily CPU bound bro... not to mention Ilum framerates... well, let's just say you're doing pretty damn good with 30-40 FPS.

He's full of it. My decently geared medium armor dps has 3353 armor... *at level 50*.

I'm not so sure. My lvl 36 Vanguard has 5.5k armor. Remember that tanks stance is +60% armor, and tank ACs might have perks that increase that even more.

I'm not sure if it is or not, there's not a lot of data given how new the game is but Tom's actually did a decent article regarding SWTOR performance and had some interesting numbers regarding CPU. Their test was run during the beta though, so hard to know what may have changed and it was at the Twilek Village in Typhon, which I haven't seen since beta myself; I may try making a republic character to take out there and see how it compares.

Even so, my CPU would only be 200MHz clocked lower than their 4GHz Phenom II which very nearly keeps pace with the OCed 2500k. It's hard to imagine that chip being the bottleneck.

And I'm not so sure about Ilum either; when you get a lot of people together it does get rough (especially was on my 5770) but simply making circles around the assault gathering armaments my friend tells me he's regularly at 60+ FPS at 1920x1080 with maxxed ingame settings on a 2500k and a 560. Just one person I know, unfortunately most of the people I play with aren't particularly computer savvy, they just like video games 😀

If you're not 50 yet, you can only store commendations. What you CAN do is get 1000 merc and 1000 wz commendations. That will be enough for you to purchase 5 bags immediately at 50.

As for the "unique" label, I'm pretty sure I have had upwards of 12 bags stored in inventory at the same time. So I'm not sure what that means exactly, maybe it means you can't stack them?

Yeah, I'm sitting at about 1000/1000 already. I'll spend some on my lvl 46 blaster but that's about it. Was hoping I could just store up the Champion bags and then open them all when I hit 50.

I bought one already, but can't purchase any more.

This makes me feel like an idiot for cashing in all my commendations recently. Only got a couple implants and the rest resulted in about 20 centurion commendations. I could have had roughly 120 centurion going by 15 per bag which would have gotten me some actual gear.

I will have to check again tonight, but I get a lot higher FPS on my GTX 580 coupled with an i7-920 and 25GB RAM. All while running 7-8 VM's using all processors and about 2GB RAM each and other various apps open on my desktop.

I have not tested my frames, but with a 6970 and a 2500K I'm fully maxed on everything at 1920x1200 with no slowdowns that I've ever noticed.

Thats pretty much what I did. So I had 6 bags waiting for me at 50. Did the two pvp dailies the same day and had 2 more.

Security question? : what is your favorite restaurant? i don't fucking remember, let me play my goddamn game!
EDIT: looks like my account on the website was locked as well, fuck sakes. Shitty system.

Honestly, it's your own fault. You answered the questions, so you should have remembered them. The best you can do is call customer support when they're open.

Sage/Sorc: force speed + barrier = they just run right through the flame hazard traps leaving everybody else behind.

There's several "tactics" to huttball. As mentioned, Guardian/Juggernaut leap is one. Shadow/Assassin (tank spec) pulling people along is another. But honestly, the concept of huttball is flawed once you put a properly spec'd sage/sorc in the match.
I disagree. You have to learn to pay attention to the resolve bar, but my Powertech (Vanguard mirror) can stun those sorcs in fire (70%), grapple them down off the ramp after they blow their escape, and any target I leap to gets stunned if their resolve bar isn't full. My medicine operative is just as valuable, as I can put out 300k healing while being harassed all match so long as I get a guard and time my defensive cool downs carefully.

IS THIS FOR SURE GONNA HAPPEN?

So I made a republic Jedi Knight. Does anybody else go dark side as a Republic? Going dark side as a Republic is like making people cry or suffer but nothing compared to going dark side as an Imperial where you KILL people. Wow.
