I finally got an invite as well but I'm not sure I'll be able to download all 20GB or whatever the size is.

I have a case of slow ass internets. 🙁
 
Got invited for the week-end.

Are these sole week-end beta invites the norm with sw:tor or are they letting a whole bunch of us in for just a couple of days of lag ridden server load testing?

I wonder.
 
they are also bringing guilds in next week. got an email today for that.

Finally got a weekend invite as well. But with Skyrim out and BF3 I may not even take it, not to mention my wife is about to pop with our first child (due Nov 13th) so she could go anytime.

Chances are I'll play for the whopping 2 days we get then want to keep playing but won't be able to until release!

Seeing some people got invites yesterday, but mine came this morning. I thought all invite would have been sent out at roughly the same time. Weird. What sucks is that the SWTOR.com website is currently down 🙁

Why is everyone so interested in Skyrm anyhow at release? I thought Skyrm was single player.

yeah, besides everyone knows we will need to wait at least a few months for Bethesda to get all the bugs worked out 😛
 
Just got my invite email for the weekend. Too bad I'll be playing Skyrim... They don't email you a code, they just have you "activate" your account, so I can't just give my beta access away 🙁
 
I think they sent beta weekend invites to pretty much everyone this time around. I haven't spoken to anyone of my friends that has not received an invite.
 
hmm play Skyrim which you will own.. or get a preview of a game you are thinking of buying for free.. I'll take the demo.. especially being its Bethesda... wont be playable for a week.

My excitement for Skyrim has been building and building, while my ToR excitement has just been waning. Plus, I played on my friends beta account, so I know what I'm "missing." 😛

Also, I had no issues with Oblivion, Fallout 3, or (I know it isn't Bethesda) New Vegas, other than the occasional freeze, but I'm pretty sure the random freezes still happen today.
 
I'm glad I did not get another invite,got Skyrim to play right up until ToR release date,got my new pc built which is up and running(Asus P8Z68 V/Gen3,2500K,8GB,MSI 2GB 560Ti,M4 SSD 64GB Cache drive,1TB F3 Samsung) so am ready for gaming,don't know how I stayed on my old socket 939 PC 🙂.
 
Just got another invite. Might pass since i really don't wanna redownload the game and skyrim is about to come out in a few days.
 
i finally decided to create an account last night to sign up for beta testing...i'll laugh if i get in less than a day later
 
Yep, got a stress test invite for this weekend. Pretty interested to try it out, just hope I have the time.

That is why I am interested in it.

Single player RPG is where its at for me. Have never really forgiven Bioware and Lucas Arts for turning KOTOR into an MMO.
