What is the &^%$ing criteria used for getting chosen to beta test?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

check here they claimed they were sending out more invites soon. I haven't gotten my notification in the email yet. But you should check email and that link to see if you are in. It is random chance for selection. AFAIK it is about 25k people. (out of a bit over 1.5 million preorders)

Is it another grinding type or a pigeon holed instance type? That is, users are suppose to go into the same instance over and over again, 7 times a week, every week just to get some form of token so you can get gears, plus 1-2 raid instance for a year at high level?

Graphics, starting with WoW as 1, Dx11 Crysis as 5, how will you rank it?

I believe all quest are voice over, but are they good?

Does the game feel repetitive in terms of leveling?

Will a brain dead subpar WoW sub able to get to the top?

there are flashpoints that give tokens for gear, they weren't necessary and I only did them one or two times.

2 or 3 however aa isn't enabled yet.

what is released is good, large chunks still need voicing over.

in the earlyish levels it can, it depends how you play

Just chill out to next month and play ToR when it goes live or go and play other new games like Skyrim next week 😉 .

Remember all beta characters will be wiped so you better off starting fresh when it goes live,even if they sent me another invitation to beta test I would not bother,rather play it when it goes live at launch.
 
Now that we're getting really close to release, is more known about PvP servers? Obviously the non-pvp servers will be completely carebear with only consensual duels or completely voluntarily-entered battlefronts, but what about the actual PvP servers? Will those be called PvP servers yet all the pvp is still consensual only, or perhaps half the shard/server is still a non-attack zone?

This x100...not necessarily like Eve (no experience with it) but open world...not linear gameplay and story.

We dont know as there is no end game yet, but there are heroic instances at 50 and we know of atleast 1 raid. Probably will follow the same style as wow, get gear from heroics and then raid for gear. Luckily in raids everyone gets a class specific item from each boss kill instead of random item drops.

Most are good, some are bad. I havent seen any missing dialog this build

It can get repetitive imo but atleast its better than wow.

Possibly, but I always assume people are competent until proven otherwise so maybe?

I finally got an invite as well. Only been signed up since you could. Least i have the weekend off....though i might be going out of town too >.<

Sadly this will probably be the weekend that determines if i buy the game or not. Still unsure if i want to get into another MMO or not.
 
Got in myself too! Can't wait. I was almost getting to the point where I didn't really want to test it out so it wouldn't spoil it for me, but trying it out for a few days will be perfect. And BF3 will keep me busy as well.

Downloading the client now.
 
Invite here too. And OF COURSE after being signed up for 3 years my beta time would start on Skyrim's release date. :colbert:
 
heh, this time I would be able to join you weekenders on the server. Doubt I'll be playing tor this weekend though.
