Suddenly I can't send Scorpio or Ensign Temple on any crew skills. This is near the end of the Agent story on Corellia...is it a bug or related to the story?

Edit- it suddenly cleared up after 30 mins...wtf...

Double edit- no, it's actually nothing to do with any specific crew member, it won't allow more than 2 to be sent...

Max companions out = level / 10, rounded down

I'm level 50 now...I can have 5 companions out it says, and yet at this moment I can't have more than 2...and I've been able to send 3 for a long time...one companion is held away from me due to storyline but as for the rest I simply can't send them, the button to Send Companion is greyed out.

Odd, I've not had a problem sending out my lackeys. I really don't see much point in them at level 50 since equipment is now gained through PvP.

It cleared up after I finished the Corellia story section. All I can think is, there must have been a section where they were going to have several of your companions go do something else in the final battle(like you see in any other Bioware game), but they forgot to do it in full.

Yeah, besides a couple semi-hard battles, there is a little interaction between the story and the crew/ship.

When you get these mission discovery things, they disappear after you use them...are they daily and will thus reappear tomorrow or are they one shot?

I still find warzones fun. Granted I'm not 50 yet either. But then again, I have a vested interest in warzones because not being 50 I still get Credits, XP, Valor, Commendations, and Legacy XP out the ass - win or lose.

Hell, yesterday I was playing my level 11 sage, popped into a match of huttball. One asshat suggested I afk out before the match even started (not so subtly saying I would suck up the match). Yeah, we lost, but ironically I had more damage, healing, and most importantly more kills than he did.

I'm having fun with the BGs myself.. although as a Smuggler I feel like I'm seriously lacking in option against Jedi when it comes to Huttball (and only Huttball). With the way the map/ramps are designed my lack of gap closers against their Force Leap and the Consulars AOE knockback I'm constantly struggling to stick on my target.

LOL did you seriously start PvPing only at 50, after we told you how messed up it is compared to 10-49?

Start a fresh alt and play the fun PvP bracket from when you hit the teens.

edit: and go Republic so you're not stuck with Huttball

No, I was pvping before that(except Ilum). I simply waited until 50 to comment. Warzones are "OK", and that's the best I can say...Ilum is a lagfest(and I don't understand why...there were only 31 Imperials in the whole zone, less in the combat area, and knowing that we outnumbered Republics that means there were less than 60 total), and world pvp is a race to stun lock. That was as true pre-50 as it was post 50.

I will say one thing...where are these lootable containers in Ilum? I haven't seen one. Course, I've only spent about 5 hours there total and most of that trying to get used to the lag, or getting killed by the out of bounds by republics who camp in their base, come out to attack you then flee back in and then grapple you into the out of bounds to kill you.

Center point. In the trench across the middle, and on the edges of the center plateau.

Crate respawn rates are pretty slow *until* there is some actual PvP action in that area, and then it spikes for a bit.

^^^ What point was he trying to make by having you leave?

No clue. I'm guessing because he was level 40-something and I was level 11, that I would drag the team down - especially in huttball where imps are extremely favored. That and I'm pretty sure this person was a general asshat.

50 warzones are pretty terrible, while 10-49 warzones are some of the better match PvP I've played in any MMO. It's a good blend of skill and strategy but at the same time the better players are not invincible either.

I've been playing a handful of different alts while my OP sits at 50 unused, and each of them has hit 250k damage or 250k healing in a warzone no later than level 14. The Powertech (trooper vanguard) was the craziest as I ended up with around 320k damage, 40k protection and 11 medals at level 14. My Sorc had 300k+ healing at level 12. I imagine the warrior class would be the toughest to play at low level but haven't been very interested in melee in this game.

Anyone else getting bored with this game already? I'm finding myself less and less motivated to log on. There really is not much to do once you're 50 compared to a lot of the other MMOs. In my guild, after we clear our weekly 8man instance on hardmode and normal, everyone pretty much play their alts for the rest of the week.

I guess if you aren't interested in what little lvl 50 content there is.

Earning Daily commendations for speeder/ear/implant takes around an hour.
Daily hardmode flashpoints if you are lucky to have a group capable. Will take several hours.
Daily PvP wz and Ilum can eat up a lot of time too.

Unless you have the entire day to play, or as I said don't find these things interesting, then yeah there isn't much to do.

Yup didn't sub after the free month. Game is going nowhere. I'm not having any fun at all. I got to 48 and just couldn't take it anymore.

I really like to level, but once I get bored with that I will cancel as well. There isn't anything to do at 50, at least not for my play-style.

I've stopped playing it, but my time doesn't run out until March. My two brothers and a friend quit before they had to pay for a month.
