Doesn't do any good. Alky is "mod-protected" for some reason. They KNOW and admit that he's a troll, but they allow him to be himself.

Where have they admitted I am a troll? I am hardly mod-protected. I can't tell mom jokes anymore.

I play by the rules here and I am a good trader in the past and contribute to sub-forums.

So, it's clear this is now becoming an Alkemyst post...

I am out of it, please be miserable together. I won't comment further.

great episode tonight. it had some great comic relief as well. glad to see bobby had a plan all along and that he is back, it was really the one thing i didn't like about this season so far was how he just left. i'm glad that it was for the show. the whole end when he was with the gang was hilarious.

Did you watch the preview? Looked like Jax was punching Bobby at one point ...

I think the show has recovered and got a little more sane after Season 4 with the Galindo Cartel. That season kind of made me groan. Season 5 brought it back on track a little more in my opinion.

This season is shaping up pretty nicely. The Lee Toric arc was great and brutal.

Ugh, thread derails...

Not bad of a episode, was expecting more from the IRA angle though... guess we will wait and see.

Back to 1 hour episodes now... :(

yeah but i thought it was chibs that he was punching. but previews on this show are NEVER what they make it look like they will be, so i'm curious to see where it goes.

Mostly agree. Latest one reminded me of how the episodes were in the beginning seasons. A couple episodes this season have made me groan.

If I'm not mistaken the reason Toric was killed off so quickly was because he accepted another offer for another film.

i was just googling to read up on that but had no luck seeing if that was why, but i did read that the actor that played toric, hi sister (the nurse) in the show is his sister in real life. that is pretty cool!

Here's an interview with Kurt Sutter regarding why the story changed around Donal Logue's character. Essentially, Logue is contracted to be a regular character in another show called Vikings and they started filming for that show earlier in Ireland, so he had to leave the Sons cast.

He was in an episode (or two?) last season, (or was it the year before?) but this time it's a whole new level of funny.

I think last night's episode was the best so far, mostly because we get to see Tara's plan start playing out.

Does anyone think Jax just signed his own divorce papers?

Yeah, I saw him sign two sets of documents too...

no, i think there is just 2 copies of the custody form to sign - one for them, and one for the court. jax isn't stupid and wouldn't sign divorce papers without knowing what they are. the custody forms weren't a surprise to him that tara had them, because she was acting as if gemma had been doing this all along.

i also liked how the lawyer knows what tara is up to, and how she is doing something very dirty to get her way.

pretty crazy though how tara's plan is playing out. she's turning to the dark side big time. the look on her face when gemma wouldn't hit her in the stomach was like 'OH SHIT!! DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!". it was also surprising to see gemma stay quiet after she realized what was going on, and just how much she had been played.

fixed!

and yeah he was in an episode a while back where they were blackmailing some political figure (i think political figure) so that he would sign some papers for them in regards to real estate, if i remember correctly.

i would love to see some outtakes of those scenes, i bet there is some hilarity that ensues.

I never cared for The Shield...but I AM a big fan of Justified.

I like Goggins. Great actor.

This bit with Tara and the miscarriage is dumb or maybe I am dumb and missing something. Is she pregnant or not? If she is faking it then are all the medical staff just going along with it?

She was never pregnant - this is all a scheme to get the kids away from Gemma and Jax if she goes in jail.

FYI, Mary, the woman from the hospital, is the administrator - and has never liked Tara's involvement with Jax or the club. She probably asked the hospital staff to go along with it.

Best episode of the season tonight

i came here to bump this thread by saying how last weeks episode was probably one of the best episodes of the series, and glad to see that someone else agrees! it was an awesome episode with a lot of stuff happening and tension all over the place. i was surprised the direction the story took to be honest - i never expected jax to find out about tara lying so quickly, and then immediately finding out about the divorce. that totally caught me off guard.

tonight's episode is gonna be craaaaaazy! can't wait to watch it tonight. it's another 90 minute episode too!

Indeed!
Makes me wonder though, if they have enough gas left in the tank to make it the finale?

of course they do. the whole tara thing is still gonna be some big time drama with what she is gonna do as far as turn in the club or what.
