At first it was almost depressing. Watching everybody laugh at our elected leader is almost at the same time embarrassing.

What I didn't know was how the Bush family had so many connections with the Bin Laden family. It almost makes you think why they delayed the special forces into Afgani giving Bin Laden a 2 month head start to run.

Either way, I don't like how Bush handled the situation. Yes, I don't think any president could of handled the shock of it any differently, but the polices laid down and the military action took was appalling.

I bet the theater owners who shunned it are feeling stupid right about now.
I bet it cost next to nothing to make F911. Just take TV footage and some cheesy interviews or stunts, and voila.

I just got back from actually seeing the movie. As we went in, there were a couple people were protesting the movie outside the theater. I asked them if they were planning on seeing it. Of course they were not, and I asked how they could protest something they hadn't seen. They responded that they just "knew" it was bad an, believe it or not, "seditious".

I find it funny the same thing is going on in this thread. People are knocking the movie, calling MM a liar who hates America, and yet they haven't even seen the movie. Go see it, they do some research and as a result either agree or don't. This unflagging support of Bush looks mighty stupid when you don't even know what you are arguing against.

By the way, I haven't stood in this long of a line for a movie since ATOC. I think that says something about Americans in general that the American haters in the world (and on this board) should take a good hard look at. We like our movies, but when was the last time a documentary was this popular? Just some food for thought.

is what's making Moore a very wealthy man. Simple economic concepts and the brilliance of marketing controversy is not something I could possibly expect a bunch of knee-jerking morons to understand.

There is no fscking chance in hell that Moore will get a single dime off me. This unflagging support of Moore makes his supporters look mighty stupid while he laughs all the way to the bank.

As food for thought: how about that Americans are sheep who suffer through extremely bad movies just because everyone else is going? ATOC was hideously bad.

I think from this post on you should put SEEN IT or NOT SEEN IT before any remarks, bashes, or support. It won?t happen though. I know your asking yourselves well why not. Ok I'll tell you. Everyone who is still saying this movie is wrong, a lie, or some other idiotic negative remark, HAS NOT SEEN IT!

I saw the film! It makes Bush look like an IDIOT. No........... woops........... wait a sec. He made himself look like an idiot; the camera only recorded the events. MM only collected the clips and put them together. Nothing was made up. I've seen over half of the clips on Bush the first time they where published, live on the NEWS!!!

The Daily Show with John Stewart replays the same clips all the time.

Where are the boycotts to Comedy Central?

The plain and simple truth is if you?re a Republican, you?re embarrassed and now you have to face up to it, since this movie was actually release.

the way you sound... i'm pretty sure if the movie were free you or made by someone else, you still wouldn't watch it. as far as seeing movies, where did you get the idea it was a bad movie? that is hilarious! people are going to see it because others have told them it is provocative and important. last but not least, why are you trashing ATOT members? that is pretty bad.:disgust:

Moron.

I don't need any film to know that GW is an idiot. I knew that long before he was elected.

Today's idiocy lies in morons like yourself thinking that we should make a slanted propagandist richer than he already is, simply for the sake of furthering your biased argument. Kindly go to hell.

Considering that Moore has already ripped off one of my favorite authors without compensation (and now it appears that Bradbury will be forced to sue), there is simply no way I will give him a thin dime.

There only was I will see F911 is if someone bootlegs a copy for me (as I won't do that myself). I will not monetarily support such a slanted propagandist, neither left nor right.

Otherwise, the plain and simple truth is that I am NOT a Republican, that I voted for Gore in 2000, that I had planned on voting for Kerry this year, but that the far Left's support of Michael ("Rush Limbaugh of the Left") Moore combined with its outright communistic policies is forcing me to considering switching my otherwise moderate vote away.

Oh btw, fanbois, I didn't compare it to ATOC, Rainsford did. Reading is Fundamental.

HAHA. You're upset about him ripping off the title but you will turn around and rip him off by condoning piracy. Fence jumpers like you should clean my nut s@ck for a living. If you are going to sit on a chair high above the rest of us, at least be consistent and lead by example.

If you don't want to give Moore any of your money, then that is your perogative. However, that leaves you with no right to enter a debate related to the movie, because you have no idea what you are arguing about. Also, what is wrong with someone supporting Moore? Actually, the majority of reviews say the movie is good. What makes you think people are just sitting through it because everyone else is? People are seeing this movie because they are curious what Moore has to say; at least that is why I saw it.

Movie Goer Assaulted at Fahrenheit 9/11 Showing

(Jun. 25) -- The highly anticipated film, Fahrenheit 9/11, came with more than just controversy at one Las Vegas movie theatre. Moviegoer, Richard Streeter, was one of the many who made his way to a theatre to see what the hype was about. After viewing the film, he was greeted outside the theatre by members of the Las Vegas MoveOn.org.

The group was handing out leaflets on the importance of the film. Streeter voiced his view on the movie, "I made the comment, apples and oranges -- Kerry, Bush -- one's no better than the other. You really ain't got much of a choice. This guy comes up to me and says, 'Oh yeah?' " Streeter was then spat on by the same man.

He attempted to call police to report the incident when he was told not to, "A guy standing next to him said why don't you drop it. I said, 'No, I'm calling the police. I'm exercising my right as a citizen, I've been assaulted.' "

But the horror kept on growing for Streeter as he walked to his car on the phone with police, "This guy turns, and totally by surprise takes his hand and bam! It was a big guy. Shoved me onto the ground, I hit my head." A police report has been filed.

The film is a portrayal of President Bush and his administration. Filmmaker Michael Moore admits Fahrenheit 9/11 is his personal attack on the President and intends to change voters' minds. The President's supporters say the movie is being used for propaganda.

Does anyone believe that? I don't, and the movie is certainly not billed as a fair and balanced anything. It is MM's opinions, period. So what if it is propaganda? Is that any different from the administration presenting whatever opinions they hold as fact and expecting everyone to swallow them down?

Sad about that guy who got attacked. People so conveniently forget that others have the freedom to their own opinion.

What Michael Moore should do next is cash on the diet fad craze sweeping the country and do a ?documentary? on him losing some weight. He is a BIG boy.

Didn't Penn & Teller do an expose on the Atkin's fad?

A funny (but unrelated) story about Moore. About 6 months ago, he came to Portland (OR) for some sort of rally. Lars Larson (a conservative talk show host in Portland Moore has criticized the past) invited Moore to come on the show, for a debate. Moore Declined the offer.

The next day, Larson ranted on his show about Moore being too scared to debate the facts. So what does Moore do? A classic chickensh*t maneuver, and gives out Lars' personal Cell phone number to the crowd and tells them to harass him.

Think about that a minute. Not only is he scared his half cocked retarded beliefs would be easily shredded by this little talk show host in Portland, but his response is to childishly give out Larsons' number to the crowd and tell them to harass him.

I called Lars that weekend, just to tell him I think Moore is a windbag idiot, and Larson is doing a great job. He thanked me kindly.

after watching this film, i realized america is not ready for this. americans are tooo ignorant to watch this film and not be influenced. THIS IS NOT PROPAGANDA UNLESS YOURE SO WEAK THAT IT CONVERTS YOU. the info and footage in this film are real. american society has got some sort of fix on blaming and reactionary politics. im very liberal but this medium is not meant for america.

First, I didn't condone piracy. I said that was the only way I would ever see it. There's a difference there, however I do not expect you to have even half the brains to be able to see it.
Nor have I ever jumped on or off any fence. My politics have been consistent almost since childhood. Both parties suck. And idiots who think that Coke v. Pepsi makes for good politics suck even more. And big nanny state government (which both parties now want) blows them all.
And as your nut sack is empty, I imagine that it does need constant cleaning out. Kindly find someone else though, as I'd chop it off.

Hardly. You sheep think of Moore's propaganda as a legitimate political exercise. That may be true, but only as one of free speech. Otherwise, it a commercial enterprise like any other, designed for profit.
Think of it this way. An otherwise popular band makes really crappy albums. Everyone says that, in order to appreciate their work, you have to buy them and listen to them. That only works, though, for the die-hard fanbois who really couldn't care about the poor quality of the content. Those who actually do care though, who rather not engage in funding even more pieces of trash.

You know how porn shops generate more business? They encourage protests from the religious communities in their area. Controversy makes for great marketing.
