That would totally make sense plus lag and other factors would come into play. But this was campaign.
.... you realize the campaign is there to introduce you to the game as a tutorial? It's not the actual game? And the factor of potentially badly written AI would be irrelevant in the actual game.

Yes I understand that online is its biggest feature. That doesnt mean that the campaign has to be broken or outright bad. I dont care, if a game conveys bad story or indifferent coding I am out, aint got no time for that.

I believe he's referring to somehow being able to see him through smoke. He forgets the huge benefits of teamwork and spotting.

And that most players see smoke, and just spray bullets knowing people will be trying to use it as cover. Its what I do. And in common practice in warfare. Smoke draws more attention than not.

In this case it was an AI with x-ray vision. Anyway, if I had a dime for every time a smoke grenade saved my behind in a tight spot .. id have alot of dimes. If you are allready spotted and bullets are flying and you have no exit but open space.. smoke is a life saver -> in csgo anyway, I get my online fragging needs in csgo and story/campaigning from BF/COD style games.

About an hour into it and dont like it. Been warned though that first hour is lackluster and the game supposedly shines further on. Things I dont like are checking terminals for mails/clues (esp if useless time wasting), wrench swinging against rapidly moving tentacled blobs (loved the wrench in Bioshock, just not here), and PC controls a bit clunky. A bit tedious so far, but havent written it off yet. Will play a little each day until things hopefully improve, but so far, not a good first impression.
