Goldenbear, there is no such thing as an "official" ranking list, since the ranking would have to be subjective and simply based on the person making the list. There are no objective criteria for ranking presidents. Ask any pinko loser, and Clinton probably ranks near the top, when we all know he was simply a scumbag.
Further, you'll first have to define "liberal" and "conservative" before you can classify a president as one or the other. Lincoln, for example, should not be qualified as a 'liberal' -- read some of his writings and you'd realize that much.
As much as you'd like to twist history to suit your misguided notion that liberalism is good and conservatism is bad, the truth is that there's been good conservative presidents, and good liberal presidents, depending on the situation the political climate at the time they were in office. For example, I believe Carter was a genuine good man (even though I disagree with his liberal policies), but given a different time and place he might have been a good president. Reagan came along just a the right time to end the cold war.
