Ok, I say obama will win with 300+ electoral. Also at least Q3 2010 before. 14' dow again but that seems easy to guess.

Within the next four years, Joe Biden will be President.

The media will manipulate the event so that massive race riots result (ala Rodney King).

Martial law will be temporarily declared in various cities and gun ownership will be curtailed in some way (ala New Orleans).

The resulting massive arrests will be too much for jails to handle, so emergency detainment camps that were "just set up" will be put to use.

The guards for these camps will be provided by "private security firms".

Maybe the chipping or tattooing will start at the camps, maybe not. Too early to tell.

obama will get close to, or over 400 electoral votes and win by more than 5% in the popular vote.

either the fiscal conservative or religious conservative faction will leave the republican party and run its own candidate in 2012

there will be moderate negative growth through the q3 of 2009, employment might break 7.5%, but no more than 8.5%

dow will drop into the 7500 area after christmas, then rebound to 10k by may and 12k by next christmas

bill clinton and wesley clark will both be in the obama administration, i think as sec state and sec def

Mike, no way the Democrats increase their majority in 2010. It almost NEVER happens in an off year election.

The Democrats would have to perform miracles in order for it to happen.

Obama might get to 53% which would be a HUGE victory. But more likely he ends up around 51% with McCain getting 47 or 48.

It's easy to comment on predictions after the fact. For instance the Dow rebounding predictions seem pretty off-base atm, but again if one does not make a counter-prediction at the time then it would be extremely *arrogant* to comment/make-fun of a past prediction.
