Interesting that only 54 hours. I am at 51 and still haven't fully explored Bilewater yet, let alone defeated any bosses in there. And I only have one of the melodies.
I believe I read that there are Act 3 exclusive bosses...

I thought 54 hours was a lot too. I definitely was not rushing and basically trying to 100% what I could before going to Act 3, aside from the one boss in the Slab that I didn't defeat. I believe I did everything else EXCEPT I think I have missed some spool upgrades as well as some of the craft metals.
It's just amazing how many secret areas there are to explore and find, and when you think you have found it all, you come across an entirely new area that needs it's own map. It's just such an awesome game.

I've run out of storage space and planning to add another SSD. While I've never opened up or messed with a console's internals, I have been building gaming PCs since my teenage years. I'm assuming, it's just as simple?
Oh, also, any recommendations on which SSD? Would I neat a heat-sink on it?

Oh wow, hadn't occurred to me. Yeah, this would work nicely. So, just pick up any external SSD and just plug it in? That's it?

I am planning on getting the 8TB one as my PS5 Pros 6 TB (2 internal and 4 in the NVME slot) is maxed out and the external 4TB usb drive wont install PS5 games and is maxed out on PS4 games as well. Waiting for the 8TBs price to come down. Maybe during a black Friday sale.

I never really paid attention and just assumed they were around 50GB - 100GB, at most. I only have around 6 or 7 games installed and notice I'm down to 50 GBs.
Yeah, maybe should pick up at least a 4GB SSD.

EDIT:
I was just reading you can transfer games to external, then delete em from your PS5 to clear up space, however if you want to play them again, you have to move it back. I am guessing it has to do with the speed of data access or something?

Yep. All about speed. Hell, a game load of Eldenring on my laptop takes eons compared to a load on the PS5. Imaging loading a several GB save file from a slowass USB drive.

I think i may finally be nearing the end of Silksong at this point. I believe I only have the final boss in Act 3 left and like 2-3 optional bosses that I want to seek out before I defeat the final one. I haven't checked my time but it's got to be between 70-80 hours.
It has to be my GOTY at this point. It's just an awesome package and I cannot believe how much content is in it and even at this time, I am finding new areas I didn't find already. That is just crazy for a metroidvania game.
I know this is the PS5 thread but I'm playing it on Switch and the Pro controller has to be the best controller ever. I also believe I've seen a low battery notification like 2 or maybe 3 times max during this play through. The PS5 controller will be lucky to last like 6 hours before it dies.

You're doing better than me. I am at 75 hours and I haven't gotten any of the Hearts yet. Last boss I tried to beat was Seth.

I have a "boss" build and then an "explore" build that I use and it's been working pretty well for me. Some of the bosses I basically just bully until I need to bind and then I just do that and repeat.
There's another State of Play tomorrow, focusing on Japan games. It's also stoking rumors that Sony might release a Japanese Language Only console in Japan at a discount, like Nintendo did.
So, with GTA 6 delayed until Nov 26 (at the very least), any chance the PS6 with bundle with it?
Sony should, since, in my view, they'll sell a gazillion consoles on this exclusive. Also, Rockstar can sell this game twice, on console and PC, where I suspect many players, like myself, will purchase their favorite games on both platforms.
However, when it comes to open world mastery and majesty, it's hard for me to envision any game surpassing RDR2. Just not possible!
