Haha, so true. Imagine being Az Hakim...one of the fastest, most explosive players in the league, placed on the bench cuz you can't catch a punt without fumbling.

The only team that can beat the Rams are the Rams.

<< The Rams are gonna smoke the hell out of the Packers (and I happen to like them, altho Freeman is a little biatch). They will be favored by 10 (I'm guessing) and I'll bet the Rams with a smile on my face. >>

I don't think this game will be a blowout for St. Louis. That'll be next week, when the winner of the Eagles-Bears game (i predict Eagles by ~3) will be crushed by the Rams, and when i say "crushed," i mean by 20 points or more.

i don't think the packers will even come close to beating the rams. the rams have to many offensive weapons that the packers won't be able to stop. id say rams by 10+ points easy.

Get real, nobody can beat the Rams on astroturf, especially not the Packers with their so-so pass defense. The Eagles or the Bears would have a better shot, simply because they have better defenses, but like I said, you can't stop the Rams on astroturf. They're just too fast.

Rams, They're the reason I watch football

did you watch them in 1998 when they were 4-12? Or are you just ridin the bandwagon?

As for Packers Rams, I think the Packers defense is underrated, they shut down Owens today, and Sharper, Mckenzie, and Williams are pretty good at pass coverage. Their outside linebackers are fast, and the d-line can get pressure. One stat that may be important, Packers +12 turnover margin, Rams -10. If Warner throws a few picks (which we know he's capable of) then the Packers could be in it. And Ahman Green is FAST and I think he'll be suprisingly good on the turf.

I want to see the Pack win, of course.

However, I think the Eagles have a better chance of beating the Bears in Chicago than the Packers have in St Louis.

GO Packers!

BTW How did NY do in the playoffs? 😛

The only teams that had a chance to beat St. Louis in the NFC was Tampa Bay or New Orleans. NO proved they are not a championship calibur team. Tampa Bay got smoked Saturday.

The only team IMHO that can beat St. Louis in the AFC is New England...

all you pin heads that think the game is going to be a blow out you better rub out what are smoking...if it were the bears vs the rams then it would be a different story but the pack have brett farve...the man can win games by himself...

as for the rams i will not diss them...they do have the Current MVP on their team even though he has a ton more to work with than any other qb in the stinking league....i still think faulk should have recieved the award.

well to me it appears simple...if you can keep that offense off the field and minimize mistakes the packers have a shot...and for the people who think that the Rams can't be beat at home just ask the bucs what they did there ??? WIN !!!

in my eyes this game will not be blow out...the pack don't stand a good chance of winning in st louis but when you have #4 on the team i think anything is possible....he is in my opinion the best quarterback next to joe montana...sure he wins some and looses some but there isn't another qb in the history of the game i would want in the last 2 minutes of a game when your back is against the wall...he is simply awsome and confident

Favre is good but hell they barely beat 49ers and the niners would have won if it wasn't for that 4th quarter interception.

I'll take Montana, Elway, or Young over Favre in the last 2 minutes.

HAHA.. I think you're a bit confused. How long have you been watching football?

<< Washington Wizards will win. >>

I thought they were basketball. 😕 😉

Even though the majority of people think the Rams will win I'm still cheering for the Packers.

🙂 GO PACKERS!!! 🙂

Rams 42................Green Bay 24

Green Bay cannot defend speed in a passing game and no one can stop Faulk. Green Bay has a very misleading record as did the 49ers very week schedules. The Rams had one of the hardest if not the hardest schedules this year.

The only NFC team with a shot at the Rams is the Eagles. Their defense is as fast as the Rams offense and their offense when "on" can score just as fast. Green Bay could take them down if Favre can bring his A game and the defense steps WAY up, but it's not bloody likely.

If the Rams make it to the Super Bowl, the only AFC teams with a shot are Pittsburgh and Oakland.

Where are you guys getting this information? I don't see any huge difference in difficulty of schedule between the 49ers, Packers, and Rams.

If you take the winning % of each of their opponents for the 2001 season and average them together, the Ram's is .47, the 49ers' is .46, and the Packer's is .43. Not significant. All are within 4% of each other. You can't base anything on that, geez.

I know the Packers will defeat the RAms, only because I am aChicagoian. I KNOW that the Packers are gonna end up playing the BEARS.

Bears 142..... Packers -9. Just watch.
