-- Official Packers vs. Rams Thread --

ohtwell

Lifer
Green Bay Packers vs. St. Louis Rams.

The game is January 20 at 4:00pm (ET) on FOX.

Who do you think will win?

Go Packers!!

rams will win, but don't totally rule out a packer win. packers have the best chance at taking out the rams. eagles maybe, bears no hope

I give the eagles a 50 percent chance at taking out the bears

I refuse to sate that the obvious winner will be the Rams because my employer is in Green Bay Wisconsin and I fear for my job.....😉

this is an interesting match up. but I'm going for the packers all the way. cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeseeeeeeeeee

danny~!

Holy crap. You guys are living a dream. The Rams are gonna smoke the hell out of the Packers (and I happen to like them, altho Freeman is a little biatch). They will be favored by 10 (I'm guessing) and I'll bet the Rams with a smile on my face.

Good bye Packers.

<< I had an odd convulsive Butthead laugh when I read the thread title.

"Huh, huh, he said Packers vs. Rams, huh, huh..."

😱

yeah I laughed 🙂

Geee... Someone sounds like a bitter Cowboy fan.

Wish I could say the Packers will win, but the Rams will be too much for them -- especially in-doors at home. If the Packers can stay close it'll be a moral victory.

The Packers D looked pretty good today. Thing is, the Rams offense, while similiar looking to the niners (with the plethora of crossing patterns) is willing to call any play (All praise Mike Martz) at any time to get not just a first down, but a TD...

Greatest quote this year in the NFL (After a game):

Reporter: "Mike Martz, why did you call 45 pass plays and only 8 run plays when you have one of the best backs in the league?"

Martz: "Cuz it's fun."

heh.

never count the packers out till the game is over..........it doesn't look good, but what other team in the nfl has a better chance at taking down the rams in the playoffs/superbowl than the packers.

"The Packers go there knowing that with Favre as their quarterback, anything is possible. They might be the only team in the league right now that can get into a shootout with the high-scoring Rams and keep up. " Priscohttp://www.sportsline.com/b/page/pressbox/0,1328,4836559,00.html

Good point happy gamer, but I doubt in a shootout that the pack could last. They are just too inconsistent. Of all the teams, however, they do have A SLIGHT shot.

The thing that scares me about the rams is they can and do turn the ball over.

IF the rams don't turn it over they WILL win and win big.
