Now how long do we have to wait for new nForce chipset drivers 😉.
The current UDP's are very good, what issues are you having that you need the new one's pronto Mem?

EAX support still sucks
Well if you have the MCP-T but are connected by analog then dump the nV drivers and use the Realtek's if you have the ALC650. I've found they work much better than the nV's for analog wether it be MCP or MCP-T if you use analog. The EAX works fine with them too. Halo has a readme note about issues between Realtek and EAX but they put out new drivers that fixed it but fast. I used EAX in Halo with the realteks with no problems  They have cured various other issues that users with nV audio drivers were having when using analog pushed through the ALC650 too.

All this time since 53.03 and nvidia releases a non whql driver? Im afraid the new cards will come out and nv will have never released a good driver for fx. New drivers will be for next gen cards.

What? the performance and quality of the det's has done nothing but improve up to the 53.03's 😕 Thanks to those improvements my card is faster than when I bought it. BTW, why do they need to be WHQL? It's never amounted to dick wether they were or not as to wether they are good drivers or not in my years of using them.

You ruined it. It's supposed to be:

Any word on release dates? I am guessing that since you moderate at NFHQ that you are a de facto beta tester and may know...

kmixer.sys bsod with new nforce chipset drivers. Still using 2.45.. no problems

A weird thing happened with the new drivers.

I upgraded the drivers without reinstalling, forgetting that I had the coolbits tweak installed, and when my games fired up, I got a strange little overlay on top of the graphics that displayed the frame rate of the game, along with a graph of CPU usage and other info. It went away when I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them. Anyone else get this? Anyone know how it gets turned on in the first place? It would be kinda cool if it could be turned on and off at will through the registry for benchmarking purposes.

HardOCP Driver Review
under the driver control panel area:

"Also when you enable coolbits the More Direct3D menu becomes available. Under this menu there are some very interesting options available. Under the Advanced Direct3D settings there is an option to render frames ahead. The next option down is to enable a Performance Graph. NVIDIA says this is a debug tool for developers, but it is a potentially interesting feature that shows you a real time performance data in games. The next option is Force textures to lowest MIP level which basically forces the video card to use the lowest MIP level available for textures. The other three options are to basically disable T&L, Pixel Shader 1.1-1.4 and Pixel Shader 2.0-2.x. While this might greatly improve performance it will also disable all the shader effects." Text
