Wasn't that Tom Clancy in The Sum of All Fears? Perhaps he quoted one of the scientists.

<< why does it matter?
If someone has the resources to get uranium or plutonium, then they would have the resources to get ways to make a bomb...
its not like you can just make uranium out of household cleaners
>>

2 checks is better than one. Some people might have the uranium and some have the science...Leaving both closed is safer

If you ask me, it matters very much

In nuke school I had to lock my papers and binders in a locker to leave the room to take a piss. That only had to do with reactors, not a damn bomb. WTF

I fail to see a terrorist how a terrorist would be able to get uranium, but unable to get the science to do anything with it

"nuke" is half a word my friend. "Fscking nuke" is the proper terminology when referring to people in the nuclear power program.

Step 1: Learn how to build bomb.
Step 2: Get materials.

You just don't go ahead and skip to the second step. But on the other hand, now nobody will have to.

The information on how to build a nuclear weapon has been available in major public libraries in the U.S. since long before the internet became fashionable.

I thought it was "official and confirmed" because you referred to "idiots and England". I should pay more attention.

The Atomic Energy Commission at last count showed 88+ lbs of weapons grade uranium/plutonium missing worldwide. Considering it is usually kept in containers about the size of the coffe cup I'm holding, thats alot of sh!t floating around. The "it doesn't matter because they need material" argument will be forgotten soon after the shockwave passes by your location.:disgust:

I think it's pretty lame to only use those titles when there is a certain amount of posts. That strikes me as a pretty dumb way to prove a threads validity, but hey, that's just me...
