Wow, you don't pay attention to life, do you?

Nintendo has been saying ALL ALONG that it will be graphically inferior to the other next-gen consoles, it doesn't even support resolutions higher than 480p. Did you EXPECT to be blown away by the graphics?

PS x360's games suck so far, my friend has one and the only time we ever play it is to play the old arcade games...even Madden is terrible, and Madden has been consistantly good for every system for 15 years.

I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the graphics. But those look eerily similar to the current Gamecube graphics. I thought they would at least make some sort of effort to revamp them.

And madden was rushed to meet the launch date of the 360. That's been known since the system launched. Where have YOU been?

I am reading tons of psots by people that own VERY nice computers....

why do you think they are interested in "this?"

it's fun dammnit, and those who saw better graphics= realism say it becasue everyone else says it.

I am simply in awe of nintendo right now

<---remembers when he got the original ninendo as a gift and started playign mario:heart:

I thought the gameplay was great, and I already said I'll be picking one up when it comes out. I just wish they made at least a *little* more effort in the graphics department. That's all

I am gonna guess that these are no 100% complete games. Even so, you can't make a graphical judgement until you see it in person.

while I also enjoyed the gc it did relatively poorly. But as of now it looks like they will do better sales wise this generation.

Whatever... just didn't think any of the games were all that great. I can go into reasons for specific games if you wish.

WTF does that have to do with anything? Living under a rock imlplies being unaware of something. I have a Cube, XBox, PS2, PC, DS, PSP... I'm not 'unaware' of the games, I just didn't find their AAA titles to be all that much fun.

20 mill units to the XBOX's 21Mill. Worldwide numbers are comparable. The US numbers are not, but that is not 'The world'.

Good confrence. They should let the people that know english talk tho lol.

Nintendo has a HUGE smile on...big after party
Sony....Are getting yelled by their bosses
and MS....are ok...They will get tipsy

They didn't say much for new information did they?

either way, Wii will definitely be the first console I've owned in a long time.

MS hasn't had their conference yet....we will see.

Hopefully it won't include J Allard sitting in the middle of a floor again. 😀

just saying they are ok They are doing fine, but they cant have as much hype as the other two since its already out.

does anyone have a link to specs and such for the system. Like pics of the controller. Websense keeps blocking a lot of sites so I'm tired of trying.

Yeah, that's pretty much a given. MS's big items are the HD-DVD player and showing off the 2nd and 3rd generation of games.

gamecube kicked ass....

yes, I enjoy the GC. They were never THAT out of the game.

People don't seem to understand how huge Nintendo is in the portable gaming market. In Sony's conference, they were boasting about how the PSP is their hottest selling product to date or some BS - yet it's a clear second fiddle to the DS...hmm...

I also like my GameCube, although I can't say the games were anything extraordinary compared to the other systems' games. It did bring about wireless controllers as a standard, the Wavebird clearly is, hands down, the best controller of the 3 systems in that generation. Again, M$ and Sony followed suit offering wireless controllers for their next gen systems but they left it at that (sony obviously trying to copy off of the motion sensors, failing miserably, it was so obvious they had thrown it together on short notice, and was also obvious that it is going to be more gimmick than anything, especially at first - just like when they first slapped on joysticks following suit with Nintendo's n64 controller, many new games after the dualshock became standard still never liked to function well with the analog sticks. Funny thing is, 3rd system is here and they still have those sticks slapped on, at least M$ got it right the first time around with putting the left stick in the primary position, and the Dpad in the secondary, slap on / afterthought position.

QFT. Although the Wiiiii officially has the most retarded name for a console IMO.

launching with zelda is the way to go. I think these companies are forgetting how important it is to launch with a killer app. The only one that will have it this time will be Nintendo. We all know the effect that halo had for xbox and Mario 64 for nintendo 64, nice going nintendo.
