the bears vs packers playoff game may happen. I think that tampa bay has a very good chance at beating the eagles, last weeks game between them doesn't count much, tampa bay had nothing to lose by losing, and did the eagles really care if they lost? these teams held back not showing the other team what they can do. the best thing that can happen for the packers is to have tampa win this weekend, which I think will happen.

anything can happen in these games, but odds are packers will beat the 49ers, and odds are the packers will beat the bears again. next odds are the rams will beat the packers. and if tampa gets very lucky and beats the rams the packers are siting in very good shape at going to the big one.

thats why we play the games, anything can happen. some where in the playoffs there will be a upset, which game it will be we won't know till it's over.

I used to work at 3com as a medic during the giants and niners games when I was a medic in SF. I am a forty-niner fan through and through, but I have to go with the packers on this one. They are playing in the "frozen tundra"

Honestly, I don't think either team stands a chance of getting past St. Louis and that offense... If Jerry Rice was still with the Niners, I'd root for them - I can't stand Favre, and Green on Gold makes me sick... not to mention that those Cheesehead-hats are really getting on my nerves :|

OK, with that said - I'll go with SF, but not more than one game

BTW, flavio - how are the Niners going to score those 86 points? Best workup I came up with was 9 field goals, 7 touchdowns with PAT, 1 TD with 2 PC, and a death-dealing safety on Bret Favre from which he NEVER returns :)

I hope the Niners win so that there's still a chance for the Rams to beat 'em again!

Packers are up 6-0 in the second quarter. Packers got a PAT blocked and the 49ers got a field goal blocked.

Signs of life from the 49ers O:). Nice drive, Hearst had a couple nice runs, some nice RAC yards

i have to laugh at the ignorance from the bears fans...do you guys really think that the pack can loose to you guys...give me a break...I am not going to get on the rant that the bears are lucky...the bears have a good team ( for once in the past 15 years ) now all of the sudden they are the best thing since sliced bread but there is no way the bears will win if the two teams for some reason...my prediction...the bears will LOOSE to Philli and Philli will enturn be stomped by the rams thus ='ing a lame ass superbowl with the rams and probably as lady luck would have it the dolphins

as for the pack...

fact #1 the packers have the only 3 time MVP on their team...farve

say what you want about him but he is one of, if not the toughest guys in football, how many D lineman give QB's props as they do farve ???

fact #2 the pack have never lost a playoff game at home (12 - 0)

why: because it is so friggin cold here in january !!!

now i love the 49'ers as well but i think they have a young team and will lose in GB, not that anything matters on the NFC side because the Rams are going to stomp anyone who comes into the dome...i love GB but i am not going to be as ignorant as some bears fans and say they can beat anyone

as for the fool who was ranting about farve laying down for strahan...give me a break...the guy gets 21 1/2 sacks and you can't cut him a break ??? he has been getting double and triple teamed all season long...now if it were his 12th sack and the same situation would you have as big as hissy fit ???

didn't think so, to me i think strahan earned all the sacks this year and my hats off to him...

the score is now 7-6 SF...the pack will prevail...and go on to ST Louis for a lesson from mr faulk and Co.

geez, what are you smoking? i agree about the rams but the fish will be lucky to make it past baltimore and if they get lucky and win; they get stomped by the steelers.

superbowl will most likely be rams vs steelers although it would be nice to see the raiders keep playing well. i think they'll beat the pats but i don't hold out much hope for them in the afc championship game against the steelers.

w00t w00t!! Great play by Garcia, and they leave the guy who just scored the TD all by himself in the endzone for the 2pt conversion

just a few inches between a Terrell Owens touchdown and a Tyrone Williams interception.... like they say... football is a game of inches... and that just proved it right there.... I'm a huge niners fan, so next week i'm hoping the Packers smoke the Rams and shut them up!

Always had a soft spot for Brett Favre and the way he plays football, even though he always seems to spank the Niners :(
