Damn you Insane! :| 😉

I think they should give us Hannu Toivonen, Brad Stuart and Patrice Bergeron as compensation 😉

Oh well...sorry guys. Now the question is will Joe be his typical no show in the playoffs?

Even the the B's lost last night...AGAIN...I got to see a nice Bergeron goal. Bergeron took a great pass and was going to go in all alone...but Sourray was flying across for the huge hit. In the end...all Sourray did was elbow the air as Bergy went buy, then just stopped in front of Aebischer and stuffed one in. I watched it a few times on replay just to watch Sourray going for th big hit and getting nothing but air...

😀

Boston's management is so horrible. That teasm could be doing great if they stopped doing stupid things like trading their best player. Not that I mind watching Boston get its ass kicked by Montreal again and again and again 😉

BTW Aquaman. Orca meat tastes mighty good on arena nachos! 😉

So what was your address in SJ ??? [gets the butt pee equipment ready] :Q 😕 😉

Cheers,
Aquaman

Aquaman, what is this fascination you have with pee and butts? 😉

w00t. Thanks John for the welcome into the second season.

Aquaman, it's tough for me to see the Canucks miss... you wouldn't believe how many Canuck fans I know from golf league, and also my brother is a die-hard Canucklehead 😛

Bottom line is, one great team had to miss the playoffs. I think of it this way though - if LA wouldn't have completely blown up, they might have taken that 8th spot, or bumped SJ down into 8th. We could be both crying the blues!

Detroit or Dallas... hmmm...

Since I just watched the Wings in person against the Oilers, I have to hope for Dallas. Lidstrom is simply too good right now... I think he has the ability to completely shut down the opposing team's offence... and he's only one of an outstanding defence core. I don't really want to be the team that faces the Wings in the first round, but if so, I'll love it all the same.

GO OILERS

In a perfect world, I'd like to see Detroit/Colorado, Edmonton/Dallas, Anaheim/Calgary, and SJ/Nashville.

Meltdown, for your team's sake, I really hope Colorado tanks and you take 7th. If we beat Anaheim tomorrow, we're locked in the 5th w00t!

Miller had an awesome night for the Sabres, picking up their slack. The Sabres were outshot 29-45, including 3-18 during the second period.

It's also nice to see Noronen played well and got the W. Too bad Auld didn't get some much needed rest earlier. They'd be in the playoffs right now, I imagine.

Looks like the first round for the west is set in stone.

Detroit vs Edmonton
Nashville vs San Jose

with these 4 teams currently facing each other. Anaheim and Colorado may switch spots though.
Dallas vs Colorado
Calgary vs Anaheim

Go Sharks Go!

Pretty good run for the Sharks finishing 5th considering they were in 10th just 2 weeks ago.

Joe Thornton for Art Ross and Hart Memorial!
Jonathan Cheechoo for Maurice Richard!

🙂

Miller gets a shutout! And against the Laughs, no less. 😛

The best part of the night, though, was when Andrew Peters made golf swings to the Toronto players. Man, that made my day. Sure, it was a bit disrespectful, but it was funny as hell and Toronto deserved it.

I already have my tickets for the Stars 1st playoff game. 2 rows behind the Stars Bench baby. I ready for the smell of sweat and blood.

Nice!

I tried getting tickets to the Sharks playoffs. I refreshed ticketmaster's site right as they went on sale and both games already said "sold out". 🙁

10-0 over the last two games is a great way to go into the playoffs! Finally, Buffalo's back. Should be a good series with Philly, but I'll say Sabres in 6.

I predicted at the start of the season that the Devils would finish in the top 3 in the east, with over 100 pts.

I predict a Devils/Wings or Devils/Flames final!

They're only #3 seed by virtue of winning a division. They still finished 9 points lower than Buffalo. I predict they don't make it past the second round. Man, the Devils are the most boring team in hockey.

Thornton should win the Hart as well. He completely turned the Sharks around. Jagr had a fantastic season, but I believe Lundqvist meant more to them than Jagr much of the time.

I agree...of course I'm a bit biased since I'm a Sharks fan. 🙂

The media loves the Rangers so I'm sure that Jagr will win the Hart hands down.

What's everyone's predictions for the first round? I'm hoping for an upset with the Oil over the Wings. 😀
