Hmm. Just caught up in my reading for this thread, nice to see more activity as playoff time approaches :)

Yep, manhandled in D-town. That game was pretty much all about running into a composed team which is a threat to win the cup against a bunch of whiners last night. Hurts to say it, but... I'm tired of the excuses. There is a lack of effort right now, and it is showing in the bad penalties some guys are taking.

To go see your team play live for the first time and wear your jersey into the road team's rink is one thing. When they get shut out, you just kind of dejectedly exit the building in disbelief! :(

Anyway. Unbelievable - Mats carrying the Leafs playoff hopes! If they make it and the Oilers miss, I should have to wallpaper the walls of my cubicle in those pics that were making fun of the Leafs that I posted a while back! :p

Once last good luck wish to your respective teams gentlemen! ;)

Henrik Sedin continues to be the best 9th round draft pick in the history of pools for me! and my 10th round pick was Horcoff!! :D

Great comeback tonight! 4 assists for Joe Thornton and now the Sharks can't finish less than 7th, which is right where I want them so they can face Dallas instead of Calgary or Detroit. Aquaman, you can go ahead and take tomorrow's game even though I'll be there. I'll sit back without a care in the world and watch a great game tomorrow night. :p

Aquaman and Meltdown, may the best team get 8th. Good luck to both clubs. :)

Both on tonight, and i really don't care for the Thrashers or the Flyers

Just got back from the game. Wow that was intense! Sedins and Carter were flying around again tonight....especially Carter. Great physical play by both teams and I was seriously on the edge of my (nosebleed) seats the whole 3rd period. It seemed like Alex Auld just let some pucks fly by him. Thornton with 3 assists tonight, Cheechoo with 2 goals, and a great win for Nabokov.

Sorry, Aquaman ;)

They did not play bad........ well except for Carney's give away that caused the tieing goal :p.

A good game except for the out come.
