The B's have now beaten Ottawa three straight games, and handed them their worst home loss of the season...
And it was just a few weeks ago the B's were in the cellar of the eastern conference...

The Flyers and Hurricanes have each beaten the Sens twice. Out of those 4, none have been shutouts.Originally posted by: Insane3D
I forgot to add, two of those three wins against the Sens were shutouts. Has anyone else beat the Sens three straight times, or shut them out twice, this year?

I just caught this on OLN. Apparently during the Sabres/Thrashers game - a Buffalo player was called for a penalty. The Sabres coach was smart and asked the ref to check Kovalchucks stick and what do you know - it was found illegal - thus, negating the Thrashers power play. Sabres ended up scoring another one that made the game out of reach and won it 5-2. Just funny how many illegal sticks are being detected these days...

Heh... I saw a peice on TSN about Kovalchuk's illegal stick, and they also mentioned Samsonov.Originally posted by: Insane3D
After Sergei Samsonov got called for that in a game, it turned most of the sticks that were coming from the manufacturer were technically "illegal"...
I suspect there are tons of illegal sticks out there, whether or not they should be illegal is another matter...
