It seems like all the blues and nucks fans on TSN have gladly hopped on the kings bandwagon. I'm kinda surprised. I expect Barry Melrose to sing their praises on ESPN (all twenty seconds of coverage they get....seriously, OFF SEASON football gets more coverage than PLAYOFF hockey?!?!) but still....

Kings are my favorite team behind the canucks 😛

Hockey fans for some reason think that it's better to have lost to the eventual Stanley Cup champion than to lose to someone else. Not that losing to the Stanley Cup champion says anything about your chances of beating any other team in the playoffs.

Salvador: I'm dreadfully sorry sir, this establishment is not open for business at the moment.

Carter: Zach, I also intend to offer my congratulations to Mr. Ponikarovsky... but I should like to do so before you and I believe you will have to defer to my superior heft.

Caps off to a scorching start, if Lundqvist didn't stand on his head it'd be 2 or 3-0 instead of just 1-0. Lundqvist's glove save on Ovi right in front off the elevated chip-in was spectacular.

Backstrom with a superstar shift on that goal after knocking Anisimov clear on his back. Finally earning his paycheck for once.

EDIT: Rangers tie it on a rookie mistake by Holtby thinking it was going to be icing. He's allowed to let in one bad goal after his spectacular play but it comes at a bad time.

EDIT2: Caps win. Bet Lunqvist wishes he could have that last goal back.

Salvador has been so great this year after a lot of Devils fans were hoping he'd retire to make room/cap space. I guess buying out Colin White was the right move, I'm pretty happy with our defense right now.

I have no idea what Carter was doing there, but it was hilarious. Hopefully this season encourages Zach to stick around.

Not if the other team is Chicago 😛

Once Holtby becomes more stable, Caps will be really good.... he is very young as we all know... but regardless...

LETS GO CAPS

I want to see Phoenix win the cup.

It'll tell the league that something is wrong when the city can't support the team, they can't give tickets away for free, the NHL has to come in and buy the team to save it, and they win the cup...

Other than that, I'd like to see the Kings do it.

Flyers are out of gas and the Devils are just playing better right now.

Thems the breaks.
