Maybe next time he won't try to take a cheap shot at Keith.

Either way, fuck Duncan Keith.

The Canucks didn't deserve to win any of the first three games, deserved to win 4 with Sedin back, and game 5 was a toss up.

It's BS that you can headshot the team MVP, an Art Ross and Hart trophy winner, and tank his team's playoff run.

Hamhuis tried to dive and get the penalty call from Lewis after losing the puck which eventually Stoll picked up and scored the goal.

"To be honest, it doesn't matter if you lose the seventh game of the Final or you lose in five in the first round -- it's devastating," said Daniel Sedin...
lmao at danny boy trying to downplay it.

Great hockey day when the choking diver twins and crybaby crosby are eliminated in the same day. FWIW there are some players I like on both those teams (schneider, malkin) but my enmity for the others override everything.

Suck it, James Neal! You just got bitch slapped by the hockey Gods.

And I'll leave this here;

Pittsburgh was the team to beat but they beat themselves. Boston is not looking so hot against Washington. Pittsburgh will back next year just as good and will be the team to beat again. :p

They need to fix their defense and goaltending - barring that it's just a team with 3 superstars and a top line player (Neal) that can be stopped by effective checking. Staal and Kunitz are garbage.

Any team with Crosby and Malkin though, is never far from top.

He just plain tripped (not a penalty) and then in desperation tried to knock the King player down. I wouldn't call it a dive as it was an accident.

For now I'd like to see the Kings come out of the west, and the Sens out of the east.

Sens
Kings
Flyers
Caps
Yotes

Sidenote: Imagine if the Coyotes, a team owned by the NHL that can't fill their arena even if they give tickets away, win the Stanley Cup. And imagine how the Leafs, a team that makes tons of money and transfers it to other teams, would feel considering that they never even make the bloody playoffs.

Actually, now that I live out east, I fully agree. I'd rather they lose in 5 in the first round than lose in 7 in the final. The prospect of staying up until 3 am on a work night for an OT game just sucks. :p

Staal is garbage? o_O He was Pens best player in the playoffs.

Yes, if the hockey gods decide that Crosby doesn't get concussed again. Hopefully he can stay healthy because we don't want Pens fans saying they weren't at full strength when Philly beats them again. ;)

Wow. The jadedness of Pens fans knows no bounds.

You obviously no dick about hockey if you think Staal is garbage

Well, I would have been somewhat excited for Canuck fans if your city had won the Cup last year being that it would have been the city's first. And there's no shame in losing in 7 games in the SCF's, but losing in the first round after winning the President's is the epitome of suckass. It reminds me of the 2010 Caps who I had high hopes for, and then did the same thing - I didn't really follow them until the playoffs the year after.

I would have gladly stayed up late with fingers crossed and been tired at work, that's the fun in just being a hockey fan in general. Just like when the Flyers lost to Chicago in the SCF, I remember the hangovers the next day.

My biggest problem with PENs is Paul Martin. He is getting 5 million and he is garbage. I want Hal Gill back :(

People usually end up regretting saying things like this.
