24/7 Flyers/Rangers: Road to the NHL Winter Classic® debuted last night on HBO. BryzgaLOL!

A preview is here.

Last night's ep is available online at the usual places.

Penner wasn't stoned by the goalie, he flat out shanked the shot. Johnson was way out of position on I think the 3rd goal? Kings had 3 posters, but then so did Boston. Doughty looked like he was giving some good effort, so did Drewiskie, Brown and Penner. A bunch of other people looked like they were throwing themselves a pity party. Through most of the second the team looked like they didn't even want to bother moving their feet.

These guys need to pull their heads out of their asses and get it together. They also need an elite winger that can shoot for Kopitar.
Drewiskie! He's the guy that did stand out to me but I hadn't heard of him before. Monarchs callup?

Dustin Brown is one of my favorite NHLers. 100% effort every shift and an honest player. Reminds me of Patrice Bergeron...

I tried to watch this legitimately. I really did. But if they can't be bothered to upload it to HBOGO then I can't be bothered to not download it from newsgroups.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Carolina Hurricanes aren't leaving their home in Raleigh, but they will be playing at a different arena before the season ends.

The purchase of Raleigh-based RBC Bank by Pittsburgh's PNC Financial Services Group means that the RBC Center, home of the Canes, North Carolina State University men's basketball, concerts and circuses, will get a new name.

As soon as March 2012, those events will call the local sports and entertainment venue "PNC Arena."

i wont be able to tolerate anymore pens games after they change that.

Sometimes it's awesome that everyone always brings their A game against my favorite team, some times it's not.

That's just part of being the best. Sometimes it's awesome to see a small market team whose entire payroll is equal to Detroit's first line payroll actually win a game against them. 😛

Detroit is just a big game for us mainly because of the auto industry transplants we have here. We call them Pred Wings.

Looks like more Wings fans than Pred fans.

These numbers are probably more accurate:

Wings $64,325,000
Preds $51,387,500

But no where near the whole team = 1st line kinda disparity

The Median is actually higher for the preds. Once Lidstrom retires you'll see a decent drop in total salary

Last I heard the Wings were 6 million under the cap. They're waiting for the low hanging fruit come trade deadline time. If this team is in 1st place come the deadline and then they add one star or two very good players....Look out.

So I'm watching the Hawks/Ducks game and I'm thinking about what the Hawks need.

Supposedly they have cap rooom to get a good player this year. Getzlaf and Perry both are playing bored and lifeless.

I wonder if the Hawks could clip one of those two on the cheap?
