*Official* Nhl 2010/2011

hurricanes....this is going to be shitty this year, so im just looking forward to seeing all the shuffling around since they have a lot of guys on 2-ways that are young but have some skill

take pitkanen on your fantasy teams though...hes good for a boatload of assists

I think the Wings have a chance. Huddler back from Russia, Modano centering the third line, and Ruslan Salei back on the blue line the team looks good if they can stay healthy.

I left my goalie picks to the end. I got Howard and I think Nittimaki(sp?). First pick was Parise.

in most leagues it doesnt seem to be a good idea to wait so long on a goalie....i made that mistake last year, my first, and got raped because i ended up with 2 backup goalies on my team...i got zero credit for a goalie, ever.

/wont take cam ward

The Wings have an EXCELLENT chance this year.

Ducks for a second Cup?

No? OK fine. I will still go to a few games. Our company has season seats.

yeah, the canes havent really got a chance at the playoffs except by luck, but i have a 12-pack of tickets. i figure, worst case, i get to see at least *one* good team play each night (meaning the other one)

well... everyone knows where the Oilers finished last year 😀

just hoping Eberle and Hall make the big club, and that they don't burn them out too quick. I'm actually just as excited for Eberle as Hall... Paajvari should be good too...

rebuilding years... probably this season and the next two or three. then i think the Oil could be a force to be reckoned with.

Huddler was my fave back in 08-09, I am stoked to see him back. He's a workhorse for sure, always hustling.

We'll see how Tonto does this year... maybe they'll make play-off this year.

hahahahahahahaha who am I kidding.

Impossible, Toronto has been planning the parade route down Yonge street since July!

The Avalanche's season mainly depends on if the sophomores slump. If they're all solid (or most of them are) and Anderson has another great start in net, they'll be back in the playoffs. I'm not expecting a huge jump from them in the standings since they're still so young, but they should be a playoff contender again.

I think the Pens should be back near the top. If Malkin can stay healthy they will clearly be fighting for top spot. Flower has to be better, he has got to start winning some games on his own.

Devils may move Kovalchuk to the right wing. Just hope the NHL doesn't respond by fining them or taking away draft picks.

Anyway, the inside scoop on NJ is that their forwards are tremendous, their defense is suspect, and Brodeur is becoming more of a question mark because of his age. They need to dump about $3.5 million in salary to fit under the cap. Don't be surprised to see Zubrus or Salvadore (or both) start the year in the AHL as a result.

I've never liked MAF and never thought he was that good of a goalie. If he proves me wrong, though, the Pens might be the best team in the East.
