I am very disappointed with my hockey team this year....way more so than last.

At least we now have 2 wins in a row.
 
I feel your pain DaTT.

Just think though, only 5 points out of 8th.

Leafs continue to win... hopefully they are close to battling for it at the end.

< Oilers mentality.
 
East is always a tight race.

3rd year in a row we won';t make the playoffs, hopefully there is a major change in the management system and its employees.....possibly a GM that has control of the team...not a bunch of lawyers and teachers.
 
The Red Wings are having their yearly Father/Son road trip where the players are allowed to bring their fathers on the road trip in which they usually bunk with their dads.

The Wings usually try to look good for their dads otherwise they hear about it when they get back to their rooms.

I was just watching the pregame show, it was kinda neat.

haha I have practically every night for the last 3 years and love it. 13 more years baby.

BTW, if you guys haven't already picked up Backstrom for your pools, do so before everyone notices he's now the staple center for Ovechkin for a very long time.

horrible game against the stars yesterday. but so far good month for thje ducks. hopefully they can take out detroit and LA before the all-star break.
 
Yzerman is apparently one of the front-runners for the Leafs GM job!! or at least they said so on tsn anyway...

I loved the All-Star Skills comp... the Young Stars game was sweet... Ovechkin was amazing too... too bad Crosby wasn't there, it would have been even sweeter.
 
Yeah, maybe next year the players will bring a little more to the table for the Breakout Challenge...seemed like Ovechkin was the only one trying.

The only thing missing from the All Star game today is hitting.... 🙁

i agree though, it would have been cool if everyone was trying to be as creative as Ovy.

did you watch the hitting highlights from past all-star games on TSN? the one where Gretzky got hammered with an open-ice hit? that was crazy... lol
