I don't think the packers are gonna lose this game. Fucking terrible Cowboys. Can't even tackle a dude even with theirs arms wrapped around the dude.

WTF was that? How can you do such a stupidly obviously intentional helmet-to-helmet hit like that? Moron.

KT

yea he should get fined for that and it should have been called.

the austin collie hit on the other hand ... that didn't deserve a penalty and better not be a fine.

What a drubbing...Even though I dislike Dallas and expected them to lose, I expected them to do better than this.
It'll be interesting to see what Jerry Jones does after tonight. You know it's bad when the sportscasters spend a good portion of the second half talking about who should replace the head coach...and I hope to hell JJ doesn't get Cowher to take the job. He's the Steelers coach (former) and coaching for any other team would just seem wrong.

(of course, money talks, bullshit walks)

As a Cowboys fan, I couldn't be happier to see the well deserved self-destruction continue this way. Draft pick, new coaches, and hopefully (???) a more modest and hands-off Jerry Jones.

1-15 baby!!

You might as well wish for a more modest and hands-off Al Davis...neither one is gonna happen.

I saw who the Packers were playing this week, and rubbed my hands together and cackled seeing as they are my defense on my fantasy team.

I was not disappointed.

i guess 2 of 3 will not be to bad. do you really think jones will keep his hands off the team? if you do i have some beach front property here in hostetter i can sell you :sneaky🙁)🙂😀

"Who the f--- cares? A guy just spit in my face! I don't give a damn about Karlos pulling somebody's face mask. Like they didn't see [Dolphins quarterback] Chad Henne get hit twice when he slid. Yeah, a little Stevie Wonder and Anne Frank." Asked what the Anne Frank reference meant, Crowder said "Who was that? Is that the blind girl? Helen Keller ... I don't know who the f--- Anne Frank is. I'm mad right now. F--- it. I'm not as swift as I usually am.

ok, I have to admit, this had me LOLing pretty good.

Refs in the Lions game are awful. Missed an obvious facemask and called the phantom chop block (THIRD ONE, two incorrect). Plus the main ref has a creeper voice. Fuck off.

this was the worst bad call / missed combo i have ever seen. totally changed the outcome of this game. should have been 1st down Lions on the 10 yard line or where ever the facemask was. but BRUTAL officiating all game.

but overall just a brutal brutal final few minutes for Schwartz and the Lions... i can't believe this team! it would have been such a huge win for them... they had the game, they gave it away... ridiculous. no excuse... pathetic coaching... i don't know why he didn't try to ice Folk on the 46-yarder to take it to OT, he had a timeout left!! but they tried to ice him in OT. just a litany of mistakes.

i'm hereby rename this team the Litany Lions.

and for god's sake get a backup kicker. Suh is actually listed as the 2nd kicker... pathetic

and Stafford is out again... wow. he's made of glass

At least it looks like the island is back to 100%. And with hill already out once stafford went down the outcome of the game wasn't In much doubt.

Uh, I wouldn't say that. There wasn't any doubt that the Lions weren't going to score again, but the Jets were still down at that point.

My thoughts for this week:

1. The Browns are better than everyone thought, and I also think the Patriots are a lot like the Colts -- their defense is bad but manages to show up on a few key plays to help secure wins. Not this week, though -- for either team.
2. You have to like the Lions and Bills. They play tough every week and throw everything they have at their opponents. In the case of the Lions in particular, I hope Ford doesn't get rid of Schwartz or the GM because I think the Lions are on their way to becoming a good team.
3. Can you say "overrated"? Fans of the New York Jets should try saying it.
4. The AFC West and AFC South are shaping up to be the best divisional races in football. The West should be really exciting this year if the Raiders and Chiefs keep it up.
5. The Colts are in trouble. At this stage, I think they have too many injuries to overcome and the defense isn't playing well enough to compensate. Please, Bill Polian, when the season is over:

a. Waive Bob Sanders.
b. Waive Anthony Gonzalez.
c. Fire Larry Coyer.
d. Dangle some big money to bring in a top-flight defensive coordinator.

The Colts dug themselves out of a hole yesterday, took the lead, and the defense gave up one big play after another in the second half. Pathetic.

6. I disagree with Peter King's MMQB Fine Fifteen. The NY Giants are the best team in football right now and would easily beat the Ravens and Steelers.
7. Houston, we have a problem. Welcome to yet another mid/late season collapse.
8. Jerry needs to fire Wade now, but only if he is seriously entertaining the thought of replacing him with Garrett. If he plans on going outside the organization, he might as well hold off.
9. The Niners had a bye, so no edition of "Meanwhile, in San Francisco, Mike Singletary.."

what, no mention of the skins and the shanahan\mcnab fiasco??? for shame indycoltsfan!!!!

schwartz was a total idiot coach yesterday in just about every way imaginable. i actually think they could be decent if they were better coached.

I already commented on the McNabb/Shanahan fiasco last week. I don't think there is much more I can say at this stage. I am waiting for hilarity to officially ensue (aka, them signing OffTheMarkus Russell) before further commenting.

The Vikings beat a very bad team and had to come from behind to do it. Reading the articles online, you'd think they beat the 1989 Niners or something. No -- they beat a team with Derek Anderson at the helm and had to score 2 TDs in the fourth quarter to tie it up for OT. It was an embarrassing performance for them.

I think he needs at least another year. They've been very close to many, many wins and if they can't get over the hurdle next year, he needs to be canned.
